Laptop keeps booting into grub.

• I try booting normally, it boots into grub.

• I try booting from a elementary OS usb, it boots into grub.
•  
• I try booting from a ubuntu live cd usb, it boots into grub.
•  
• I try booting from a gparted-live usb, it boots into grub.
•  
• I try booting from a windows 7 usb, it boots into grub.

 

I type in ls and it shows me all the good stuff, hd0 and hd1 if I have a usb in the port.

 

I've tried setting everything as root, never works.

Try booting from a bootable CD. If that still doesn't work, then your computer is probably RIP. You could buy a new hard drive and put it in the computer, or you could just buy a new one.

I looked up what GRUB was, and for now I'd also say you have a RIPtop.
