Should I buy a gaming pc now, or later?

I saved up a good bit of cash from working and trading, so I think it's time to start getting into pc gaming. Perhaps I'll start picking out parts in less than a month. The problem is, I see new pc parts being created often, almost like new versions of Iphones. Technology is moving at such a rapid pace, I don't want to risk spending $1,000 on a pc to find out the next day that they've made a supercomputer for $100. Plus, I don't want to miss out on amazing deals. I would assume the best times to buy would be on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. So can anyone please help me out?

TL;DR - Afraid to build gaming pc (in a month) with risk of being immediately outdated. Also looking to get best value for money.

A super computer will never cost 100$, calm down. Just build yer own

I know, it's just a hyperbole. I'm just emphasising how I don't want to end up with outdated hardware.

A gaming politically correct? I don't think many parts go outdated too quickly. I had a computer from 2006 that lasted until 2015, it had some good hardware from the time, and it got decent fps on minecraft, tf2, and other source games the entire time. I wouldn't worry too much. Don't buy anything if you don't feel comfortable about it's longevity I guess.

A gaming pc won't become obsolete over night. Even if newer parts get announced it's not like it renders your pc useless. Just use pc part picker, keep an eye on newegg sales and build a system to suit your needs/budget and be happy.

My PC is 2 years old now and it still run new games really well. If you buy the most up to date hardware right now, you should have a PC that can run most games just fine for atleast 3 years.

My PC is about 3 years old and I built it on a budget about like yours.

I've only started having problems overheating on some of the new games (most likely b/c I kept the stock heat sink)

You should build what would make you happy as a gamer. You will not get anywhere procrastinating about the newer "better" component because then you will never get it done.

It's impossible to futureproof high-end PC's, they'll always be at least a bit outclassed in a few years. Don't worry about it.

That being said, I think 2015 isn't the year to be building a gaming PC. Most of the graphics cards and processors this year have been unimportant slight improvements over last year's hardware (such as AMD's 300 series and Intel's Skylake CPUs)

2016's got a lot off cool stuff in its crosshairs though. We've got AMD's Zen processors and AMD and Nvidia making HBM graphics cards. DDR4 RAM will probably be cheap enough to overtake DDR3.

You're not shooting yourself in the foot if you build a gaming PC now, just be aware that there's cool stuff down the line that you may miss.

I'd say buy it now.

2 days ago i got this new pc, and well, i'm stunned about how good it is. (~810€)

Don't be afraid that they'll invent a super computer tommorow and launch it directly, it'll probably cost a few and probably would get overheated quickly if it's that "super".

Just remember, if they'll invent a super computer it'll probably cost a f*ck ton to repair, with a pc it'll probably only cost 50€ or nothing, based on what's broken.
