I don't know if I'm missing something here or what but I don't know how these got accepted. I'm not trying to bash this guy. I'm just confused and want to see if I'm missing something here. I thought I was doing well, making good suggestions and votes but these two got accepted and now I don't understand anything lol. If you see why these got accepted please answer and explain it to my stupid self!

Market is quite small for that item. He has shown a valid unsold to remove the higher range, which is this and also an unsold at the value that he is suggesting for a week.

I would've done a conservative drop instead on that such as 1.44-1.66 since there are not a lot of sellers at 1.44 but also proofs that the item there needs a drop. Nevertheless, it deserves a drop anyways so moderators accepted that suggestion.

1. Few of them on outpost without applied stuff. The unsold for 2.33 for 1 week was enough.

2. If 1.44 doesn't even sell, then 1.66 shouldn't be in the range, unless a sold is found which there wasn't one.

1. Okay, from my understanding you are saying that if 2.33 ref is just as unsold as 3 ref then 3 ref is an outlier?

2. Same as ^ except no matter how many sellers you have for the 1.66 vs the 1.44 if 1.44 doesn't sell within a day then it should be included in the range?

Please do not hesitate to correct me if i'm wrong!

1. Well, you only need some unsolds from the upper-range if you want to remove that upper price. There is a need to also include some lower-range sellers, but basically what you are saying is correct. If a lower price can't sell for a week, higher prices sure won't sell unless it's a re-stocker or something.

2. Correct. However, I would advice to include more evidence to make a flat range instead. Backpack.tf usually looks for common trading points instead of just plain sellers and stuff. If there's only a single guy asking for 1.44 and a lot asking for 1.66, it will be obvious that 1.66 still needs to be included in the price, therefore making a range.

I see, my logic with this was all screwed up before. Thank you for the help!

And ~ãã‚Œã§ã‚‚世界ã¯ç¾Žã—ã„~, one final thing. From my understanding the logic of this post http://backpack.tf/vote/id/55bc408bb98d88c54d8b4568. Shows if a 1.55 ref item can't sell for two days then everything above it is not the true value? I mean to me it doesn't seem right.

It is really about your understanding on that market and your experience. You'll know more once you started doing suggestions.

It is possible that a value above also sells, that's the reason when moderators leaves suggestion for a day or two to see if the items sells or not.

On that suggestion and from my opinion, it's quite useless for dropping normal items by a scrap unless it's a refined below. 3.55 is just as near as 3.66. Regardless of that, the suggestion is quite hard to judge. There isn't really enough evidence for it to drop. All there is just an unsold at 3.55 and one at 3.66 that are valid. Often, if I'm not sure that there is enough unsolds at 3.66, I won't include it in the range. It's always best to do a conservative drop when you're not sure what to do.

I will do a conservative drop on that suggestion, such as 3.55-3.66, or just leave it be since values are just too close that it really doesn't deserve an update.
