So the other day, I was just thinking about a medi gun that would build uber slower (like a -40% uber build penalty), but builds uber more quickly with kill assists/damage dealt by current healing target. I really haven't had much time to think about it, so I'll let you all discuss it down below.

What would the uber do exactly?

We have one for invulnerability

Another for increased Damage

Another for Quick Healing

And another that is absolute bullshit that gives Damage resistance

how to administer Healthcare to harmed comrades as medically inclined German mann?

Considering your main uber build would be via your partner's combat rather than your healing, maybe the uber should help focus on your partner's combat? Maybe like increased damage(kritzkrieg) being bulkier(quick-fix) or possibly something else?

It will give you wings so you and your heavy can fly in to the sunset while eating some moist tortilla chips.

Serious answer: I would probably use this, as I play aggressive medic and often deal a lot of damage with whoever I am healing, it also seems to balance out with the slower uber build, no clue what it would actually do though.

So basically it's a medigun with the Bazaar Bargain mechanic? Seems promising. Only thing left would be the uber, which would probably contribute towards aggressiveness to match the attribute. Maybe it can give your heal target and yourself 50% damage resistance and 2X damage (half stock, half Kritzkrieg)?

EDIT: While we're at it, let's also give it knockback immunity like the Quick-Fix.

The vaccinator IS good, you just got to know how to use it. The only thing that's bs in it is i can't switch resistance while using uber

but i can still do good with it

I like it too yo, just applying to the Most common denominator which is "I hate Vaccinator" here lol

Just a little idea from your idea from benefiting off of kills and assists, using borderlands 2 mechanics.

http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Krieg/Skill_tree

Sticking to the bloodlust tree, for each kill assist, medic gets 10 stacks of bl, 150 damage dished out from the healing partner gives 1 stack, and a kill by the medic himself gives 20. Stacks start to decay after 3 seconds and decay at two per second. Now using the "blood filled guns" skill as a neutral benefit and increased fire rate while using an uber. The stacks don't decay while uber is deployed but go back down to 0 after the uber ends. So essentially a gun that increases clip size and fire rate. Not really the kritzkreig which deals immediately high damage, but offers benefits to deal constant damage for longer. Also unlike most other medi guns which influence medics to try to hold onto uber until needed, this gun means the medic needs to still be out on the battlefield.

how do i shiny as dentist

Interesting idea to be sure, but the only way we'd ever know if it's balanced would be to test it in-game.  I think that holds true for a lot of new weapon ideas.

Wouldn't that basically just be a buff banner + battalions backup except it only affects one person?

Again I think valve should implement a mode for weapon ideas such as this where u can try out new weapons and give feed back to them

I personally +1 this idea

But i could see that being a huge problem in pubs. Heavies and Soldiers would steam roll even more than they already do against incompetent teams

How about:

Name: Blood Sucker

Can drain enemy's health at the rate 8hp p/s (Can be changed)

Enemy health can be dispensed at a much faster rate to any allied heal target

If there is no enemy HP, Target will be healed at the rate of a level 1 dispenser

Cannot Uber (Idk. Maybe like -50% ubercharge rate

When you uber, refills ammo (not mags, so it would still take some coordination), and faster reload and firing speed.

This would make it more effective to use on a demo/soldier target, and would get rid of those filthy pyro pockets. It could still be effective on heavies and could even work on scouts and engies.
