The orange power button light of death

Computer shuts down and won't start up again. When I try to start my pc only he fans work, but only for a split second. This has already happened to me.

PSU is not the problem. I've done the cmos jumping method - did not work. I can't remove the cmos battery for all I care.

This is why I asked for a pc from scratch....

And risk breaking the battery socket? Idk...

Do you plan on moving the PC around a lot? Also, you try my solution?

I have to be honest here. I'm not that good with computers. What is the bare minimum exactly?

I'm assuming you have an onboard GPU, so the MOBO, a stick of RAM, and PSU. Of course the CPU as well. Be sure the monitor is connected to the onboard GPU though

I've lost hope. I'll just crawl to my bed and redo tommorow.

Leave in the stuff I listed and then turn it on and see if it works.

Save your GPU and use it in a new build then, the RAM is likely good to go as well.
