Notification box not removing the new notification icon

Would love if, when I clicked on a new notification in the notification box next to recent classified listings, it removed the little number next to my name. rather pointless having the box if i still have to view the other notification menu later to get the notification to actually go away.

 

it's a small thing to ask for (NB i have no idea how easy it is to do, not saying like hey it's so easy why isn't it done) but it would be appreciated

As polar has said on this, your request would be much more faster as to being accepted since Brad / Fiskie doesn't check here often.
