Mike Hawk Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDCx8YqWZH4 Originally posted this in the GB but eh, I feel like I'd get more of a response here. My girlfriend, mom, and friends say I can and always want me to for them and I'm like nah. So I wanna see what you guys think.
λngelღмander Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Definitely more enjoyable than Justin Bieber or one direction.
Python. Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 's good. I'd work on the transition from low to high pitch. I noticed it started prematurely at 0:48 Guys tend to have a hard time with this, but it's better than anything I can do. Just some constructive critism

Pilobacon Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Definitely more enjoyable than Justin Bieber or one direction. Not sure if that's saying much. btw I really liked it :]
Keroro1454 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Damn. That was actually really good. I got half-way through, and didn't need to hear anymore. You can sing dude. Btw, is that you on the piano too? Because it sounded good.

Captain Caboose Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 10/10 better than bonnie tyler's Total Eclipse of The Heart
Curly Brace Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Average. I wouldn't go out in public and sing if that's your best, but it's not awful to listen to. Does sound like you drone on at parts when you hit longer notes, it doesn't sound nice. Definitely more enjoyable than Justin Bieber or one direction. I don't know if that's supposed to be sarcasm or not. Both artists you've listed have had their voices modified to sound great, it's just that their music genre and lyrics don't appeal to you. The singers usually sound great once others are done toying with the sound clips, it's just that the music as a whole doesn't appeal to you.
TheVenomWithin Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Sounds solid tbh, And this is coming from a trained singer myself. If you aren't already, Get some coaching from professionals, you definitely have talent. Don't let that go to waste.
Doppleganger Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 You do sing well, when you do those longer notes, it starts to sound a lil strained. Other than that, you get a huge thumbs up! You should take lessons!
Kypari Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 It's alright. You definitely have potential, that's for sure. I'd consider taking singing lessons. The piano is good c:
Noot ♥ Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Definitely more enjoyable than Justin Bieber or one direction.
Mike Hawk Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Thanks for the positive feedback everyone It really means a lot. You do sing well, when you do those longer notes, it starts to sound a lil strained. Other than that, you get a huge thumbs up! You should take lessons! I've been in choir for a while and do a lot of practice there, so theres that Average. I wouldn't go out in public and sing if that's your best, but it's not awful to listen to. Thanks for the criticism, yeah this isn't my best rendition. What do you mean by drone? I didn't belt all the way because it would have sounded odd with the way I was recording.
∞Ramses Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 With a little bit of practice (or lessons) you could be a decent singer. The head voice sounds nice!
