Puddkingkip's Selfie
Ever noticed how the people selling high tier hats always overcharge, usually adding ~80% of the original unusual's price. They always are like "...not going by scam.tf prices....blocked..." Why? Are they seriously ditching the most used pricing system just to milk more keys out of their stupid hat? Python.
Unusuals aren't really valid for unusuals if they're over a month old Traders prefer to use recent sales/demand/supply as a guideline for current prices See http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/7089-bibletf/
Adrian
Well people actually do research like for sales and they try and go base off that. if you think they added to much to it you can just buy a different one.
♠Derpeh♤
Well to be fair bp.tf isnt exactly accurate for high tier hats, it's used more just to "report previous sales", however with that said most people who go "screw bp.tf" dont exactly check the market and realise they are highballing through the roof anyway and then they blame us for not being able to sell their unusual. jelly jiggler
Also some people take advantage of having either a 1 o 1 unusual or only one in the market to pretty much name their price.

Surs
Why can't they overcharge? It's their hat, their price. High tier hats should not be valued by bp.tf prices, inaccurate af. Why do you care what people price their items at? It's their item, their price.
vetroza :3
True what surs says. But they Always use bp.tf to Price my hats xD
A Ninja
High tier hats are usually not accurately priced by backpack.tf unless there has been recent sales. I mean would you go off a one year old price for your an unusual.

Why do you care what people price their items at? It's their item, their price. There is a difference between simply overcharging and highballing through the roof blaming someone else (bp.tf) when they cannot sell their hat. The number of people who try to sell their cancer effect for like x2 that of burning and then hate on bp.tf cuz they have been sitting on their hat for months is funny Most people here have no issue with people highballing just dont complain and point fingers if you cant sell. For hightier/god tier hats most users use it as a "record of sales" rather than a price guide, if you reach a backpack where you are in the god tier range and still need a "guide" to tell you prices...I dont even know what to say haha
