As of now I have 5 warning points (I guess that's the only way to ban someone from the forums?) and I no longer have access to that thread. You can get banned with any number of warning points, even 0, but only after you have accumulated 5 warning points in total. (If you have 3 then 2 will do to ban you). You had 0 points prior to the request ban so 5 were handed out. And the thread not showing up for you is very weird.
