  • f1 2012 (I considered it, but i only need so many racing games....plus, 2010/2011 are better values)
  • all gta games (GTA stories suck, and i tend to just run around flying planes/screwing with mods)*
  • all total war games (Not really a big fan of Strategy games)
  • bejeweled 3  (it feels like more of a toy-game rather than a computer game, but maybe)
  • assassins creed 2 and its dlcs (Have it on PS3)
  • torchlight 2 (Could Be)
  • dead island and riptide (Already Have Dead Island, Riptide is just too much/apparently not worthwhile since the original is much better)
  • deus ex human revolution (If its anything like the originial, then its not really my style)
  • dungeon defenders (Could Be)
  • garrys mod (Not really sure what the point is)
  • killing floor (Have it)
  • all lego games (Good Call, looking into)
  • payday 1&2 (Have Payday 1 in inv, Payday 2 is just too much, also i've heard payday 1 isn't very good without friends)
  • portal 1&2 (Have 'em)
  • plants vs zombies (Same as bejeweled, it feels like more of a toy-game rather than a computer game, but maybe)
  • saints row the third (Have it)
  • civilization v and its bigger dlcs (Not a fan of Strategies)
  • the 2 newest splinter cell games (Looking into)
  • trackmania stadium 1&2 (Same problem as f1 2012)

*P.S. how do mods work with Steam games? I used to have a bunch of mods in GTA: SA, and there was a program you'd use to activate them (can't rmbr what it was called---Sammy maybe?)

  • bejeweled 3  (it feels like more of a toy-game rather than a computer game, but maybe) you should try it somehow and see why i got completely stuck on it. ask andy if you have him on your fl. he can verify why its an awesome game
  • torchlight 2 (Could Be) the 2nd best game ive played all 2013 after borderlands 2
  • dead island and riptide (Already Have Dead Island, Riptide is just too much/apparently not worthwhile since the original is much better) i wouldnt say much better. i still enjoyed it, and it was almost worth full retail.
  • deus ex human revolution (If its anything like the originial, then its not really my style) havent played the first one. but id give human a solid 8.5
  • dungeon defenders (Could Be) really fun with friends, but dd2 is coming. idk if soon or in a year. but its coming, andy can verify this. we two met over that game, both have 1k hrs+ on it
  • garrys mod (Not really sure what the point is) there is no point, but if you have no creativity, dont get it
  • payday 1&2 (Have Payday 1 in inv, Payday 2 is just too much, also i've heard payday 1 isn't very good without friends) payday 1 isnt that great without friends no. nor is 2. and pd2 is like 8-9 keys
  • plants vs zombies (Same as bejeweled, it feels like more of a toy-game rather than a computer game, but maybe) this is more of a game than bejeweled. hilarious story and overall fun game. a full score from me
  • the 2 newest splinter cell games (Looking into) again, its best with friends. first one can be played single and still very fun. but friends boost it. cant tell anything about blacklist though

*P.S. how do mods work with Steam games? I used to have a bunch of mods in GTA: SA, and there was a program you'd use to activate them (can't rmbr what it was called---Sammy maybe?) steam have full support for mods.

i can also tip you about magic the gathering. kinda strategy but maybe you'll like it

So how do you activate a mod?

As for Splinter Cell, which is the best one? Conviction?---appears that way based off ign anyway.

i have no idea. i know steam supports full modding, i dont know how, and the sa forums probably have a guide for steam.

yeah, conviction. thats the best one

Any of the dungeon defenders dlc good? Also, Torchlight 1 worthwhile, or just get tl2?

dlcs are a must for the later stuff. nightmare dlc is a huge must. otherwise the game is too easy on end game lvls. and some other dlcs just add maps. but the dlcs i recommend getting is summoner, ev, nightmare difficulty, mistymire and aquanos. if you're not on a budget, just buy everyone. they are all worth it.

again, this game is so much better with friends. but can be played singleplayer and is still a fenomenal game.

as of torchlight i havent played 1, but cant imagine it beating 2.

How bout dungeon defenders mp, but without friends. i.e. random people, as finding friends to play games isn't always the easiest thing. Especially since most of my friends aren't big gamers.

every AC game

Except the first, the first was bleh---long distances to walk. Missions literally had you sit on a bench. Just slow-paced in general.

Flag hunting aside, I actually liked the first one. It was fun to gather intel piece by piece until you knew exactly how to make your move.

Anyways, for games not mentioned, I'd suggest Recettear: An Item Shop's tale. It's a fun little game that's half dungeon crawler and half capitalist bastardism.

Biosharks.

I'm planning on getting the first at some point later in time, but I played a bit of Bioshock 2 and Rapture's atmosphere is creepy, yet strangely attractive.

Oh yeah, and Infinite is really cool. Get the season pass as well if you're gonna be getting it.

it works, but when i and andy was playing in high end gear and such, only noobs would be joining, so when we had gear well over 1k in each stat, they would be joining with about 300-500 in one stat. which is a huge difference in this game. but low/mid part of the game, sure. it works great

No one suggested Antichamber?  Yeah, add Antichamber to the list.  It's much like Portal (as in, there aren't any portals, but the game mechanics are pretty original), but more challenging and fun in my opinion.  It's annoying and boring for the first 30 minutes, but once you start to figure things out, it's a blast.  That is, if you're up for a long puzzle/dungeon game.

It was originially on my list, but i watched a few gameplays, and it just seems kinda weird....idk...just put me off a bit.

Oh, it's incredibly weird, the laws of physics and geometry in the game are different from those we observe normally (for example, infinite staircases, changing hallway locations, 3D spaces and rooms overlapping each over, etc.) which is what makes it weird at first and fun after a little while.

AudioSurf looks pretty cool, also its on sale ($1.50 on Russian Store). Plenty of sellers are asking for 1 key, and you can also get it for less (bought myself a copy for 5 Ref).

Bastion

Arkham Asylum (smaller but almost as good as Arkham City)

Deus Ex: HR - didn't play the first one but thought this was really good

I don't really recommend the old Far Cry games. Haven't played FC3, but the old ones were a big let down for me. They were probably awesome when they first came out, but they didn't come close to matching JC2 which I had played first.
