Why is "NSFW" content not allowed?

Seriously, If its tagged and people know what it is....what's the harm?

I know most of our "fwnbwase" is kiddos but the tag should lead them to think "No touchy touchy!"

'Cause just in-case they are illiterate on a forum covered in words we can't leave the chance they could fumble around like moles and eventually press a button that puts porn on their screen.

Technically, according to a mod I asked, only GB has rules, the rest of the sits is common sense

PRS and trading forums have additional rules. And the "common sense" includes no nsfw content. It's stated somewhere really unlogical but I will find it eventually

Well, even links to sites that contain porn are off-limits. I once got warned for a Danbooru link that didn't really have much in the way of actual porn (though it did have some BDSM).

If you want to watch porn or see raunchy photos the forums isnt the place for that. Go to a porn site.

We dont want to be spammed with stupid threads thanks :)

Spamming is against the rules....so if it was allowed you couldn't just spam it...and everything people post is stupid enough to take the 2015 Dumbass award.

The issue is that one user posts one thread means many users post 1 thread which isnt "spam" except out forums will be flooded with kiddos who think raunchy photos is good content.

Most of the time spam isnt from one user posting multiple times it's many users posting similar content and they arnt spamming based off a technicality.

Again, If you want to see raunchy photos/porn go to a forum not here.

The reason multiple sites do not allow NSFW material is that it significantly limits the amount of advertisement companies willing to advertise on any given site. Advertisement revenue is how a majority of sites accrue revenue to keep the site funded, especially one as large backpack.tf.

Also, as already mentioned, these forums were not designed by Brad Pitt and part of his license agreement is to not violate any of the rules listed. One of them being no NSFW material.

This isn't some violation of your freedom of speech, but rather a necessary requirement in order to continue using the forums.

Wow I didn't see it like that, thanks, I didn't know it broke the TOS and I didn't think about all the "sexy Picture" spams.

Gore is usually more considered NSFL (Not Safe for Life)

Can we just make it "NS" for Not Safe? It would make a nice generalization. ._.

People like specifics to add more rules. "Not Safe" can be too general and people will just constantly try to find loopholes.

Then a mutilated arm and a old swing set will be under the same tag :(
