Do I think my problems are worse than that of the people in Ethiopia? Yes, yes I do. I can explain to you in detail. I am being spied on constantly. They watch what I do, they read my emails, and they probably snicker at the things I watch, and you act like you know oppression? Those Ethiopians get hurt, sure, but the time is going to come when the US government will arrest me simply for not agreeing with them. Where men and women will not have their say any where. And for now, we have to pay a tax for people who live off welfare (lazy bastards) who won't do anything with it and will only buy drugs and beer, even Kafka would find this shit unbelievable. I hear ya, would much rather have my homes constantly ravaged by warlords, wildlife, and famine and be forced to move hundreds of miles by foot monthly to scrape up enough water condensation to survive then to have the virtually non-existent chance of some random guy in the gov showing faint interest in what I'm doing. Races are about genotype and phenoptype whereas ethnic groups are about culture. Talking about the races is not racist. They've developped such a hate in the last decade that native Dutch people don't have to show their legimitation, whilst they and other darker skin colored people do. Even worse was all the havoc caused by the Zwarten Pieten discussion. "Zwarten Pieten discussion?" INCOMINGRANTOFLONGLONGNESSNESS Basically, Zwarte Pieten have been a tradition for decades, but someone just stepped up and found the so called Zwarte Pieten racist. This went on from about summer to just before the event, on the 5th of December. According to them, they were in actuality Turkish slaves whom had to work for Sinterklaas, though the tradition goes that their dark skin color was just because of all the soot and other rubbish from the chimneys which they climb down, hence why most dressed up kids aren't completely black. Then they started throwing stuff out like "then why are their clothes clean" (that's to show the vibrent and happy colors more) and "then why are their lips red" (why do elves have pointy ears? Because it looks nicer and adds to their character). But now, they won, and we have ducken blue and green and whatever-colored Pieten walking around at the 5th of December, which, legit, scared my sister of 7. You have the Turkish barber, supermarket and car workshop. And of course the snack bar. Turks work here, and they are often poorly educated but they do stuff. Moroccans generally live off welfare and theft. When Cohen was talking about the ethnic monopoly on violence he was talking about Moroccans. There was a research that showed that in Utrecht Moroccans made up 4% of the population and committed near 90% of the violent crimes. It also rarely are the Turks that leave to fight in Syria, it's mostly the Moroccans. And let's not continue the Zwarte Pieten discussion here but on the videos I saw and the live debates I followed it weren't the Turks making a hassle. It were the Antillians and Surinam people mostly. The most known theory is that they are black slaves from Africa. Turkish slaves also make little sense as Turkey was a flourishing independent nation at the time of the introduction of Zwarte Piet (~17th century) and sub-saharan Africa was poor and divided. Oh and I have to show my ID quite often, am native Dutch, 1.92 m tall and have blonde hair. Tl/Dr I disagree with the notion that Turks receive racism and feel that the distrust to Moroccan youth is somewhat justified.
