iMachoNacho Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Recently I had 21 Keys, a Specialized Killstreak Big Kill, a Strange Professional Killstreak Spy-cicle and a Strange Part: Buildings Destroyed stolen from my account. It happened because I added someone on Steam who had history with brokering inventories and other things on TF2 with a lot of rep. He told me that if I gave him keys, he'd find some quicksells and give them to me for a low price. Obviously I did what he said (which in retrospect I shouldn't have done) and he ran, keeping all my stuff and blocking me on Steam. I've sent a report to Steam Support, SteamRep and r/tf2trade but I really don't know what I can do. Will I ever get my items back? You should always do background checks on people who say they're brokers. Sorry to hear about your loss but I don't think he's going to return your items back to you.
