ThatOtherChigga #Mack
A quicksell item is an item that sells fast. But if you list a trade selling a key for 5.66, that goes just as fast as a trade selling a key for 5.44, perhaps a few seconds between them. So my question is, what is the definition of a "quicksell" key?

ThatOtherChigga #Mack
a 1 ref key is a quick sell key. 1 ref key = sells just as fast as a 5 ref key
MC22
any key selling at 5.55 = sold in 1 min therefore 5.55 is a quicksell in the definition that a quicksell is an item that sells a very short period of time.
BQE
Keys are always in demand. You can't argue that, because it sold quickly, it's a "quicksell".

Liddojunior
B/C bp.tf is misinforming them. This. This is why we still see proof of lower prices and they sell under to use as proof to keep lower prices And quicksell means to sell under normal price TO sell fast. So if all the sellers are selling for 6 ref and a guy wants fast ref and he sells for 5.66 that was quicksell
BQE
I slowsell keys for 8 ref each. Haven't sold any yet, which is why they're slowsells.
F CHARLIE
B/C bp.tf is misinforming them. That is not true. More accurately u should say that they do not update themselves. It is clearly understood that keys will rise for now. Anyone selling a single key should always ask for more than they last knew it to go at. Especialy the 1 key owner wanting to break it down. They need to max the value of that key but we can't force them to understand this.

With keys it should be assumed that the trade price is increasing daily so if u sell one, always price it above list. Bp.tf has made a policy decision of 1 week cool downs in order to reasure people that bp.tf is not influencing the trade price. The list price of keys should not be confused with an actual price. BP.TF prices: 5.55-5.66 Sellability in under 2 days 5.88 why? majority at 6 Bots out at 5.77 Scrap.tf buys many keys for 5.44. They sell easily for 5.66. I buy some of these keys and resell them to the bots who buy keys for 5.77. These bots sell keys for 5.88/6ref. Its a vicious circle.

There are tons of players who dont keep an eye on key prices and dont play often but they get on and buy keys with their money to buy some hats they saw and like. These guys go to bptf to see the prices of items they want and they see the key price. They assume it is right and the high is end is the most the can get for their key. They then sell at it and it goes in a second, they couldnt assume keys were going up (daily) since they hardly are involved. They are misinformed. It is inconceivable that anyone is unaware of the key situation. I think you misunderstand what they r doing. They bought the key with the intention to get ref and get sone itend they want. They are happy it sold fast. The smarter ones go and give as key to an item seller and ask for change or get multiple items. This is why there are so many keys entering the market weekly. One side of the key situation is that those who have steam wallet money can get more than before.

They buy the key and use whatever bptf says to get the metal thinking that the low end AND the high end isnt low but they are and it goes in seconds.
