Zefrom
So keys are rising and buds are dropping. I wanted to convert most of my items to CSGO but here's this. I'm planning to sell my miscs and hats for pure (directly selling them for CSGO items doesn't sound like a good idea)But keys are rising and I need keys to convert to CSGO. Here's how: I put keys on SCM, I use the money to buy weapon skins. But the key prices are gonna bug me a lot. Buds dropping actually pissed me off so I'm either going to sell my unusual for pure or to directly sell it for a FT Huntsman Night Knife but here's the problem. Since buds are dropping, the value of my unusual drops. So the original value of my Cloud 9 Anger was $140. But now it drop to $90 and the knife cost $110 I just lost $50, money flew away. Anyone wanna suggest solutions or it's game over for me. I can't wait because I only have 2 weeks and after that, school starts and I don't think I can play anymore

polar
That's the problem you get when you decide to do this at the worst possible time. Why would you sell when your item is at its lowest value? Typically you want to buy low and sell high instead of the other way around. This month has always been the most popular month for cashing out before Christmas. Influx of money comes after Christmas... not before.

♠Derpeh♤
So keys are rising and buds are dropping. I wanted to convert most of my items to CSGO but here's this. Just putting this out there CS:GO is still a relatively young and unstable economy items over there fluctuate alot more than tf2 Items worth 20$ now and then be 5$ a few days after, you really need to keep a close eye out on the market. Since you mentioned your lack of time moving to CS:GO might not be the best move. This is coming from someone who was inactive on my CS:GO alt for only half a month and lost 200$. TF2 is even more unstable at the moment than CS:GO, if anything. All that it will take is valve introducing something like - "craft ref for gems"... I'm trying to trade my items from TF2 to CSGO
