Is there a way to have it so that if you put up a sell listing for one item, the bot will sell all of said item? Or is there a way on the site itself to list multiple items at once?  I find it extremely cumbersome to have to manually list 30 keys 30 times in order to sell all of them.

for people wondering what wizard magic Spirit is talkign about. afaik he uses the fiddler way which is basicly a proxy between your phone and the internet. which allows you to grab all the trafic the app does. so basicly if you use fiddler between your phone and the internet at the point when you setup mobile auth you can grab the secret idenety aswell as other secret data ONCE. but that also means you have to wait 7 days until you may trade since you have to deauth the app first and then auth it again.

overall the easiest way to get your identity secret is using the desktop authenticator however the downside is you may not use the steam mobile app on your phone.

I must say that using fiddler is the best way to extract the identity secret at this time.

It requires low amount of effort, nothing much valve can do about traffic if they must send it to your phone, and you just have to perform it when your creating the account because you wait 7 days either way. There is nothing simpler than to watch the traffic flow to your phone. Pick out a single file, and save it, before it is locked away and you have to go searching for it.

HTTP Error 429 is affiliated with the problem of too many requests being spammed at the system. Not sure whether I can say it's Backpack.tf's fault, however, do make sure to check whether you have multiple instances of Backpack.tf Automatic running at the same time. I'd first keep your API key revoked, and then get one later, as to make sure that it isn't being used elsewhere. It could also be your internet connection that may be the problem.

So even though on my alt account I have had premium in the past, it's been taken away for some reason and Valve won't let me add $5 to it to make it premium(even after contacting them). I have my API key from the past but when accessing it using: http://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikeyIt'll say you can't have access to the key without adding games or something. How can I add my API key manually to the script? I have used my API key with no issues with another bot recently so I'm sure the key works, I just need to manually input it.

 

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Like I said, I can't. I keep getting an error telling me to contact Valve. Once I did contact them they said they won't allow me to spend money on any other account aside from my main. And if I wanted any games for any other "family" account, I'd have to gift them the game.

 

I had premium a looong time ago but no longer have it for some reason.

 

Edit:I still do have my API key and it works, I just have to find a way to manually add it.

So, is that a problem with the bot itself or with Steam ?

 

I opened an issue on bitbucket :

After much fucking around I have a working update to this method, thank you to the original author. The reason why it stopped working is that Valve disallowed newer versions of the Steam app from being backed up.

Edit: This works for me on unrooted Android 6.0.

 

1. Enable app installation from non Play Store sources on your phone.

 

2. Install latest ADB:

3. Download an older version of the Steam Mobile App, I used version 2.1:

Place this in your ADB install directory.

 

4. Enable USB debugging, install drivers, connect phone to PC as per original guide. Copy run me.bat and android-backup-extractor-20151102-bin folder into adb install folder.

 

5. Uninstall current Steam Mobile App from phone without removing its data:

- Open up a command prompt, navigate to adb install folder (this will make later steps easier).

- Run "adb shell pm uninstall -k com.valvesoftware.android.steam.community"

 

6. Install older version of Steam Mobile App:

- Run "adb install -r com.valvesoftware.android.steam.community-2.1-3000986-minAPI8.apk"

 

7. Execute run me.bat from original guide. Follow rest of original guide. Voila.
