I'm really having a tough time.....

i've always been more of a console gamer than a pc gamer, but my problem is xbox, ps4, or neither...

I've currently got a ps3 and im going off to college in september (for Cs), so will i even have time to warrant buying a new console, or just stick with my ps3?

Then there is the problem xbox vs. ps4....

ps4 is an all around better system (just like ps3 was better than 360), but people are stupid and would rather get an xbox and pay for live than get it from on the ps3...Plus ps3 gamers tend to be more campy....

P.s. sorry for the god awful formatting, haven't slept in about 36 hours.

Well, from my experience (mainly COD, yes, ik. No, i don't want to hear it. Yes, i'm sure...)

PS3: Campers, 50% Really good players, 40% crap players (campers mainly), 10% decent.

360: Ragers, 25% really good, 50% average, 25% crap.

Its gotten to the point where i won't play COD on PS3 anymore since virtually every death is by a camper.

Xbox One:

  • Pros:
    • Better Live (or at least it was on 360)
    • Less retards since its not free
    • Kinect>Move (completely meaningless to me)
    • Better Controller (Kind of meaningless due to XCMs adapter, which im assuming will be made compatible with PS4)
    • Halo/Gears of War Franchise
  • Cons:
    • live isn't free
    • internet is required to play
    • can't share games
    • $100 more.

PS4

  • Pros
    • Free PSN (i think)
    • $100 Less
    • Backwards compatible
    • Can share games
    • Better graphics/power
  • Cons
    • Live>PSN (or at least it was on 360)

PS4 definitley seems like the better choice, and if it wasn't for more people having xbox live i wouldn't even consider getting an xbox....But will a lot of 360 people make the move to PS4, or stick with Xbox (thereby making Live remain better)....

P.s. anyone else have any experience with PSN/Live on non-Call of duty games? I mainly play COD, so my complaints about Live/PSN might only be associated with COD and not the system itself....

I've played on both systems. And on the 360 gears and halo and the players are acctually huge ragers and literally 1/2 the games were full of guys yellin at each other.

And ps3 players are better imo on average then xbox players

PC/XBOX/PS3 all have major campers in COD. Thats what cod is and a reason i dont play cod most of the time because theres only a few games without a team of campers.

Live and psn are honestly the same thing with different looks. I have a huge library for ps3 and i think its much better then xbox and i actually like the ps3 exclusives more.

Steam beats all.

Yes, 360 is full of ragers, but in general has far less campers (in Cod anyway)....i mainly play Cod, and on 360 there are far fewer campers (at least in my experience).

Well, i've never been a big gamer, although i do plan on gaming a bit more, and idk....i like the xmb interface more than 360's but i also like how xbox gets dlc sooner (usually), and more of my friends have 360.

Actually, psn isn't free on the ps4. It's around 5 euro's a month, so that would be 7$???? That's a bit of a letdown I think

Less then $5 actually. Which is less then live gold. Unless you pay for the full 12 months then its the same as gold.

Aight, so that should weed out the 3 year olds.......

Well, i guess the question now is, stick with my ps3 or get a ps4?

Sounds like a plan....

Still haven't decide myself though...Thinking im gonna wait a month or two after it comes out and see how it goes. (Since im going to college anyway, i'm probably not going to be using it all that much in the beginning of the year as i'll probably be pretty busy).
