really annoying when you gather a bunch of proof for a hat and its not in stats.tf

If you have the item in your backpack, then you can suggest from there, or since you're gathering evidence anyways you can just use someone's trade. Go to their steam profile, take their steam id, put into backpack.tf search bar which will redirect you to their backpack, and make the suggestion from the item there.
