College bros assemble!

So there's a lot of talk about school lately, obviously. This is for you college guys and gals.

What major are you guys going to/already study(ing)? And why did you choose that subject/field?

I'm planning to study psychology. The field I'm going to do is clinical. Mental, personality disorders and whatnot. I chose this because I always found the human brain to be very interesting. I also like to help people with life and family problems (have helped multiple people irl and here on steam as well. Apparently my advice is good enough that they come back asking for more. So why not choose that profession?)

How bout you guys? :)

Microbiology.

It fulfills med school requirements, isn't difficult, and today my counselor told me I basically already completed all the core classes for it, on top of finishing general edu last year.

I'm a kinesiology class away from my associates degree in biology and already ready to transfer.

Going to csun where everyone and their grandmother go to school. :P

Why do I feel like this is some sort of pun?

I do make a lot of puns. I don't see one there and any pun in there is accidental.

Starting University in September (Shout-out to Brits!), studying History, possibly crossing that with either economics or politics.

I don't know particularly what I want to do in the future yet, so I tried to pick the most vanilla, applicable thing I could think of that I'd still enjoy.
Because let's face it, you roll up to a job interview and say 'I have a degree,' and the interviewer blinks blankly at you a couple times before saying 'welcome aboard!' :P

If I would go to Uni/College, I'd pick up Chemistry

I love to see reactions mix and chemicals develop!

Figured you would go into Chemistry. You get no reaction from me.

History if available. Have always been heavily interested in history, would pass my history classes with ease from Elementary, to High School.

Or maybe Child Psychology. I've always been really good with kids, and I communicate with them pretty well.

Indeed I am. Although I do occasionally bond with others.

With a bond, y'all can formulate a mixture of friendship.

Chemistry class will be 100% nothing like how you are expecting it would be.

Labs are only a small portion of the class, held on different days & hours. The actual reaction will not be a large part of the lab either

Most of your time in lab is writing, calculations, and gathering of materials.

Chemistry is a great enjoyable class that you should be interested in taking. However expect it to be a largely concept lecture applied math class
