Don't round up time when the last suggestion was accepted...

Hey there. Hope you are doing well. ^_^

At the moment, mods have said that they will strictly follow the 3 days cooldown on key suggestions. The problem is that...It mentions 3 days in backpack.tf but it isn't actually 3 days, because it rounds up time. My suggestion for this is for not to round up time and go exactly by when it was last accepted/rejected.

I will sum it up for you...

Example (Says 3 days because its rounded up) :

Example 2 (Says 3 days here as well because its rounded up as well)

Where mod said that they will strictly follow them

My suggestion, don't round up time here on backpack.tf because it will confuse people and lots of suggestion will come in but all will be invalid due to all because "it actually hasn't been 3 days" Go with the actual time when it was last accepted/rejected.

Thank you. ^_^

To add more...People are lazy enough to avoid many things here let alone hover over the last accepted date and then add and subtract and all that.

Honestly I dont think anyone cares...

There's no point loosing sleep over it.

The mods does. They will close it if it is exactly not 3 days and I believe...

Mouseover/clicking the rounded times will give you an exact time.

Or did you want an option to enable exact time stamps like Outpost has?

I think a better idea would be a less rounded up time, suppose the amount of days and then how many hours. Such as 2 days, 16 hours. 8 hours still exist between then and 3 days, but from what is explained the current timestamp would say 3 days. If a person were to make a key suggestion based on the timestamp data, they would make a key suggestion before the cooldown. I will admit it's a little annoying, but it's nothing too butthurt. However having the timestamp to be %days%, %hours% instead of ~%days% would admittedly be nicer.
