In my opinion, this would clean things up a little. To my knowledge, there are many newcomers who use troll suggestion prices as base prices due to lack of knowing any better and then this causes a domino effect due to false alarm. This instability could well be avoided if it wasn't so easy to submit suggestions before being allowed to. I can't be the only one who's tired of seeing goofy suggestions swamp the reputable ones I wish to vote upon. I witnessed this happen yesterday as keys were sitting pretty at 8 until a 7.88 suggestion popped up then boom, we now pages of 7.88's just "cuz". I think the prices are too easily manipulated by outside sources.

That was a whole lot of what-ifs

Also, if you have luck selling C. jags at 7 keys, then make a suggestion with 7 keys in the range, simple as that. There's only cooldown for currency suggestions.

Completely understood, at the same time a suggestion of 2 keys with enough self-conjured proof would hold the same weight and then allow me to snag 3 for myself when approved.

I grasp that this site's just for suggestions and this is just one of mine. I feel if regulations were more strict we'd benefit.

I think one of the reasons they haven't done this is because in case the previous suggestion went wrong (one of the sales were invalid, such as the hat being found duped/gifted) and if someone has the proof to counter-suggest a change that has recently been made.

I agree with this. Also may help to stop the 'snowball' effect.

I agree with this. I have done this before (hee hee) but seriously get a plugin so that it makes you unable to suggest until cooldown is done

So, we've just witnessed an occurance of this again over the past day, we now lay at pages of 7.66's due to closed suggestions being taken as the new reccomended price by first time sellers, I don't mind this at all because plenty people are still buying at 8 but it's incredibly messy and we're likely to see the pattern repeat itself ad infinitum, last I'll say on the matter to avoid sounding like a broken record.
