My oppinion on unusual taunts

These taunts are "the new 3rd gens"

 

Loads look like there getting unboxed and their prices are unstable. They will crash

 

Am I right? Or should I invest in trying to sell one?

I think they will crash. As some other guy said "taunt is a 2 seconds animation which you can't show off all the time like unusual hats"(I can't remember his name, credits to him)

 

The Audition Reel crates are being unboxed like 'a lot' currently. Look how those unique taunts dropping like rains.

I considered what i spent on the one I currently have to be burned money just to show off before most people (i really don't remember the full value since it involved multiple mostly non-pure mostly Unpriced trades but call it around 2.5 buds spent).

I was doing my research for that KaW Viewfinder suggestion I just made, and somebody sold that 18.5 bud hat for a unusual Schadenfreude
It's probably the best of the unusual taunts bar the conga / H5, and it had Holy Grail, but, 18.5 buds?!
That's gonna sting pretty soon.

The taunts have been released for barely 2 weeks and the lower-tier ones are already going for the 2-3 bud level. (mostly single class taunts with the Midnight Whirlwind/Skill Gotten Gains effects)

 

They will drop in price, as any single experienced trader will tell you.

Conga and Ranchero can technically last forever since its a hold taunt.

Probably won't last forever either, but may drop slower than other taunts. I'll say Conga, Rancho Relaxo, and partner taunts like RPS, skullcracker and such may drop kind of slower than other taunts. But it's still kind of risky to invest on these stuff. Hype is kind of dying and soon we might get another update which may create another big hype that probably will push Love and War update hype behind.

The unusual taunts can only go downhill, It's just a matter of time before they hit the lowest level. I guess with these rates of unboxes, it'll be pretty soon.

Yes, but these taunts effect won't last forever like unusual cosmetic does. Except if you want to Conga all around the map.

But I would agree that Rancho Relaxo is so far the taunt which can be used forever, kind of. You can't play/kill while doing Conga, but with Rancho Relaxo, you 'at least' can still help your team mates

If you have an unusual taunt you don't really plan on using it in an actual game, more like an item to wave your dick around in a trade server or something.

Unusual hat = wave your 'dick' on every single server you visit :3

 

However, still doesn't deny the fact that unusual taunt is dropping. I honestly want one when it came out. Since a lot of people already have it now (almost on every server I visited), not that special anymore.

Oh they'll drop for sure.  I've said it before:  

 

The single class taunts will end up being worth around a bud with the all-class taunts going for 3-5.  I think the Congo may be the exception and land somewhere around 6 or so.   That said, I do really want that new soldier taunt with a nice effect, but there's no way I'm shelling out 4 buds or whatever ridiculous asking price they currently have.
