Zerr Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 So, like, what is the best way to calculate how much like 0.75 keys is in ref (for suggestions). I currently use http://metalcalculator.tf/ but i do not know if it is a 100% correct. It says 0.75 keys is 6.44, is that correct? EDIT: Got answers, thank you! Can a mod lock this please? EDIT 2: What about the other way around? If i want to say, like, 6 ref to keys, how do i do that?
Karam Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Take the metal and divide it by 8.55 (current key price .. average if range) So .. for refined to key multiply 0.75*8.55 = 6.41 ref ~ 6.44 ref
Baloo Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Most people are just lazy and round up or down to the nearest reclaimed or refined price. You're more likely to sell an item for 6 keys than 5 keys and 7.88 refined even though they'd be saving 2 reclaimed...its just about simplicity. I say this because .75 keys doesn't necessarily mean 6.44 refined. It could be anywhere from 6-6.66 refined
Heated Bread Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 8.55 * 0.75 = 6.4125 6 refined and 4 scrap is close enough.
The Radiated Banana Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I only realised this a few weeks ago but, in the bp.tf search bar, the one wear you search for prices/backpacks at the top of the page. You can type: "Convert >value< >currency<" In this case, remove the quotation marks, replace value with 0.75, and replace currency with keys Pretty nifty, too bad i only realised recently
The Radiated Banana Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I just use http://www.tf2calculator.com/ ew no
