My suggestion is: add items icons on left side. It would make this huge list a lot clearer and better to read, in my opinion.

Not a bad suggestion at all. In fact a great one! 

 

As Fiskie said, it will be redone soon.

Trust me it will be, I've been refactoring a lot of the styles lately which is why a few pages or the whole site were briefly broken. In the long run this makes doing frontend changes much, much simpler, I'm already working on adjusting some of the more ugly parts of the site.

 

So yeah, at some point it'll undergo a proper, thought-out redesign along with a bunch of other things. SASS is great, and it's what we're now using to compile our stylesheets. Before that, it was a simple and very large (therefore unmaintainable) CSS file.
