Joshua Cain
I gave been disappointed with this last update. I don't care about other games. It came with no map. Bread items r bad. U taunt thing is wierd and I think they will mostly end up around 8 - 14 keys with some exceptions. Items are mostly meh and don't seem to flip easy at all. Smissmiss was better. I have found it very poor to try to flip either the taunts or the items and have gone fully back to unusual buying (and u taunts). How is everyone else doing? wallywalrus_
it's an update. Be happy about it. Of course you can't expect another smissmass, cause those take a bunch of time to make and create and come once a year.
praise
I feel that valve has really slacked off a lot. Updates used to be fun and profitable, now they just cause trades to fail and people to get skrekt.

I don't know if the premium guys r getting all of it but..and yes an update can be bad/negative to the game. Why is it assumed that valve won't make mistake (like how many versions if a s sapper do we need).
Bonzo The All-Gnawing
I disagree. If you were in time you would make insane profit flipping those reels and pallets.

Curly Brace
Updates run as they always do. New items come out, whether they be cosmetics or weapons, and they have a high price due to hype. Time passes and they fall due to nobody giving a shit anymore because the old items are better most of the time. [The Classic is the worst sniper rifle] And of course the new items aren't easy to flip. Anybody who's rich enough to afford the high price either only wants one to keep for themselves or is smart enough not to buy it when it's expensive. To be honest I don't even want new weapons anymore just because I know they can't be good. And if they are good, then they're OP and OU to hell [Tide Turner]. If you want a stable market, don't get involved with anything that's recently come out, it's easy.

RageofFir
I actually liked this update for the taunt overhaul I really hated this updated for getting rid of magic time.
Happy Balloon
But if you can't make profit with the new items, that doesn't mean an update is bad... I actually really enjoyed it. All the buffs, nerfs, new taunts, cosmetics.

Traditionally the summer update, or any mass unbox update, is very good for flipping items on their way down(making 20 - 30%) but these don't. I tried flipping taunts as well and had little success. I do agree with ur weapon comment tho. There are so many weapons in the game. They really just need to alter ones they have. I like that they added new weapons but there are plenty of weapons that need some change( le tranger).

All the buffs, nerfs, new taunts, cosmetics. The cosmetics are not that good for the most part and much better ones were left in the workshop. Kai9001
I don't know if you are talking about flipping stuff for profit now or when the update happened a few weeks ago, but I had success with alot of the stockplie crates and the things I got I easily got a key back. What I usually do is stick with one popular item and buy as many as I can and resell them at higher prices before backpack has an offical price on the item. As soon as a good suggestion is made, it usually means that flipping for new stuff is over and you should sell whatever you have now for what you can get (and I don't mean the high end of prices). This time around, I made a few keys buying Strange Snack Attack at 2 keys and selling at 3. I had some trouble flipping over some profit but I managed. Also, if you are going to get upset and critize valve on ruining the market everytime they add or change something, maybe you should play a game without a in game market like Minecraft. Edit: Also, this was thier best update since Mecha-Update if you ask me.

Why is it assumed that valve won't make mistake (like how many versions if a s sapper do we need). As long as you dont get sucked into the hype you can make a lot of profit from players which never ever ever learn. I sold my targe/booties...etc for around 1 ref just because most players cant wait that a extra few days for it to drop or for it's price to drop because they must have it NOW. Only during this update would you see people quickselling their precious unusuals hats and buds to get keys to try unbox a 2 second animation, heck traders were impatient and bought them for 10buds + and shit themselves when they realized that they were getting mass unboxed... plex_
In my opinion, I think this update was alright. Yes, I prefer smissmas 2013 and summer 2013, because they brought some of my favourite balances and cosmetics to date. This update brought us the standard cosmetics, some good and some bad, and some weapons. And yes I have to aagree with curly when she said that the classic was the worst sniper rifle, but items like the base jumper and the tide turner are rather fun to use, even if they are a little overpowered. All in all, I would of liked a new map or gamemode from this update instead of ugly reskins, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Just remember, that we still have end of the line and moonbase to come, which should bring some interesting features to the game.
Zeus
Honestly, I found this update to be extreeemly profitable. It was easy to just hop on the hype train and buy low and sell high. Some of the items that you could flip in a snap were the Tacticals, Rancho Relaxo, Conga, and other suuuper hyped stuff.
Jakey-Boo
I honestly found this update, albeit profitable, funny as all fuck. I mean the first 2 days after the update, every single and I do mean EVERY SINGLE server I joined was bread farming/and or congoing. And I was in PUBS! I feel as if this update changed the way people with play TF2 forever, thanks to the conga taunt micspam servers can have a reason to play that conga song! Gren
I don't know what more you expected. Valve added a bunch of new taunts which don't suck at all. Plus there are unusual taunts now, giving traders with higher value backpacks something new to go after. Plus, they once again introduced a way to get rid of craft hats and they did add cosmetics (whether you like them or not is entirely subjective). And profit? Those taunts were selling for ridiculous prices at the start, just open a few audition reels and you were sure to make your money back. People who had apllet of crates made off well too. Seriously. Valve could launch an update that dropped random keys and half the community would be like "update suks, not enough keys'.
