Looking for a recommendation for a good pair of heaphones

Hi guys. I'm looking for a good recommendation for a pair of high quality over the ear headphones. I listen primarily to classic rock and reggae. Having a built in mic is a must since I intend to use them while I'm playing tf2 and other games that require a mic as well as for music. Noise cancellation is also a must. I've had a pair of beats executives for a while and they just broke a couple months ago. They had great sound quality but they were not very durable. As a result I do not want to buy another pair of beats again if i can avoid it. My budget is $500.

I'd recommend Audio-Technica M50s to anyone and their cousin, but they don't have a built in Mic. If you're willing to put aside more money for an external mic of sorts, go for M50s. They're incredible for their price.

Another vote for the ATH M50X

M50X is the updated version of the 50S.

They are incredible. Don't let the price fool you, you get a hell of a lot for the money you pay.

I own ath-m40x and I loveee them.

Buy a mod mic and you're good to go!

Again,I'd recommend the ATH M50x's. Awesome in every way.
I'd also recommend you stay the hell away from any "gaming" headphones or headsets, and surround sound headphones/headsets.
And with the left over cash you could get a DAC and AMP, or a 2 in 1 unit, these REALLY make the headphones shine.
