99 and 100's are crap.

Odd lvl vintage's If I remember correctly on a good day they can sell to 5 keys

That being said they are becoming exceptionally hard to find these days, play that song.

Rare Levels: 1, 42, 69, 99, 100

Rare Vintage Levels: 0

they aren't rare though. They're the same rarity as others.

Ahem let me copy pasta my own work relating to odd lvl Force of Natures

------------

Alright stats time, {Provided by Stats.tf} (Vintage Force of natures and levels)

So by combining levels 0 1 42 99 and 100 there are approximately: 3043 Vintage FAN's available, with 836 and 884 for 99, and 100 respectively. Average for all of them? About 609

That brings us a total of 1323 for 0's 1's and 42's. Average that out, its about 441 per level.

Now let us compare with the other FAN's, especially the rarest ones.

Now according to stats, levels 1-9 are in fact the rarest, everything below standard level are rarer than the rest of the odd level vintages. That means single digits>double digits in rarity.

Now back to numbers 1-9 Combined: 2757

Take out the the two level with the most available? (1,3: 333,325)=2099 on the dot

Average of that is about 300 guns per level (299.85 rounded up)

1-9 average is 306

So below that average is 5th tier and up 7,5,4,8,2

------------

Stats show that some weapon levels are rarer than others however it's different per weapon, (ktitzkrieg for instance)

This means the math is correct

True but he was asking whats rare and people consider them "rare"..

what about items at levels like 49 or 97 are those special at all?

These levels are common, but then it depends of items. Some items are only supposed to be level 1 or 100, so another level is "rare". Some people collect special levels, and you can fetch a couple scrap/ref more, depending of the original price.

You also get several items that only received a different level from mvm drops before it was fixed. The Spy-cycle was one of these

Anything dropped during that time was Spec Levelled, besides hats

Basically special levels are determined by the significance behind them, hence their demand with collectors. Here are the few I know of.

1) Most popular/in demand:

- Level 0: Popular among vintage collectors, and one of the only numbers where a price difference is recognized

- Level 1: Desired due to being first

- Level 42: Reference to the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, considered the meaning of life

- Level 69: Reference to the sexual position, along with being a reference to yin/yang

- Level 99: The number before 100, has no other real value to it other than that, but is still quite sought out

- Level 100: The end and the opposite of 1 in the number spectrum

2) Has some demand, but not as recognized as the popular levels:

- Level 13/31: Reference to Halloween/ Friday the 13th. Popular among halloween item collectors, but not in as much demand.

- Double levels (11, 22, 33, 44, etc. minus 99): Only collectors who wish to complete the whole double number set up to 99 tend to get these numbers

People that actually care about odd levels are very few and far between. Most collectors have already finished their collection. Getting anything higher than bp.tf price should be an offer you take and run to Argentina with.

What people consider as "special levels" is complete garbage

The real items that have special levels are from the MVM glitch that happened just as it first came out. Some hats and weapons had glitched so that the level would be equal to the amount of mvm missions completed. For example if you look at Hot Dogger you'll see that only 2 of them are level 1, this is because thats how many MVM missions it had taken to get the item.

There are also a few situations that have items that are support granted become strange leveled. There are a few different support granted Voodoo Juju hats at level 5 instead of level 31. There are also a few other situations which this happened. There is a Genuine Scrap Pack at level 69 which in this case is considered a special level due to the fact every other is at a certain one.

People try to pass off that there Pyro Beanie ( example ) is "special" because its at level 100. The problem with this is there are actually 200+ existing level 100 Pyro Beanies, meaning there are more level 100 Pyro Beanies then any level.
