He's clean on steamrep

then you should be good, as long as the hat you're buying isnt the hat he sharked

pretty sure trading with any person banned on outpost will get you banned yourself on outpost

Outpost says you can't trade with known scammers or scammer alts, but they're very vague on how they interpret this rule, as we all know.  You can trade with users that are banned on there, it just depends what you trade with them for and why they were banned.

If it were interpreted this way, anyone that trades with Accell would be banned also.

Generally speaking:

1) If they are marked on steam rep

2) If they have a lot of pending reports

3) If they are banned off outpost for fencing/hijacking...etc (ie scammer as a reason) if they were banned for spamming trades or swearing it doesnt matter.

4) If it is a blatant hijacker eg. history of hats is weird, hat is like at a very obvious discount, new account..etc. If you bought one from them generally you will get a warning (you might not have checked) but if you bought a lot it gives the red flag that you know what is going on (you have enough pure to buy multiple unusuals "i didnt check" doesnt hold much ground...)

They are vague because each report must be evaluated on a case by case basis as steamrep is utterly unreliable and traders always nitpick at the rules to slim their way out of things. Generally if you seem to be a experienced trader they are less forgiving in bans.
