Arcelor Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 That way prices of items remain independent from the prices of keys. If Lime Paint is 1 key right now, it shouldn't cost 15 refined once keys hit that mark. It will also make pricing much more easier. (no more 1.2 - 1.75 keys prices)
Baloo Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Means more frequent updates on items that are still more commonly traded for keys along with keys being able to buy more and more with each increase. If a B.M.O.C. costs 60 refined now (12*5) then it will only take 10 keys to buy it once keys hit 6 refined (6*10) On its face its a good idea, but it would assume that there is only one currency in the economy because you're bring biased towards refined not realizing that "stable" prices in refined means the items are now devaluating relative to keys. I believe this has already been brought up and shot down multiple time before.
