Zefrom Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Is the trade offer decline glitch fixed? From what I heard, if you decline the offer, the other person can somehow still accept it so I'm wondering is it fixed as I'm afraid I might lose my precious bills by someone who somehow accept the trade
λngelღмander Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 As far as I know, the glitch never existed, just some people trying to find an excuse for having accidentally accepted or mistakenly taken a terrible trade offer.
Knurr Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 As far as I know, the glitch never existed, just some people trying to find an excuse for having accidentally accepted or mistakenly taken a terrible trade offer. But there was someone form Valve team confirming it could happen, but should be fixed.
PootisWorker Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Easy. Make a counter offer asking for their items (they'll automatically decline) and then block the person.

I actually think the only way that it ever got bugged was from people sending counter offers. I declined hundreds of trade offers without a single one being accidentally accepted.

I've made a mistake like this before. I was selling an Atomizer bat and someone took it to mean I was buying and sent an offer for theirs. I accidentally accepted (wrongfully believed he was the one buying) and am now stuck with two of these things XD
