One day I asked vo0 if I could buy a unique foster facade for 1.11 quickbuy and told him small loss but the day after, he went private and I am aware his Backpack is public. I blame me quick buying a crap hat from no.1 tf2 trader but it might not just be me.

I want to know if you have theories about this.

Also, anyone want a merc's muffler for 7 ref? (This is me segwaying)

People who randomly adds other traders to lowball on an item which isn't put up for sale should be shot. It's freaking annoying, and you should feel bad for doing so.

Why the hell would you go randomly add a user doesn't matter who/what he is when you can see he is clearly not selling it.

There are 5 and over pages on Outpost where people are selling that item

http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/210189627

There are 9 and over pages on Bazaar where people are selling that item

http://bazaar.tf/search?s=335&sg=440&sp=quality=6&page=1&scope=all

Why would you even dare to bother a person who does not or have not put that item for sale anywhere? Why just why? People like you, I don't understand...Its like  randomly going over to your neighbor and asking them if their electronics/arts are for sale when they are not even selling it.

P.S: It also doesn't matter if you had him added/not. All matters is that if that person has it up for sale/not. If he/she is not saying it is up for sale, its not. Its basic common sense. Seriously.

Also, yes, you should blame yourself.

What pisses me off is when people just come up to you in-game and ask how much you want for something which you never said you were selling in the first place.  It happens a lot, especially with unusuals.  They never bother to ask if you're selling it because they want to control the conversation, and asking how much presumes that it's for sale right off the bat.  Then if you tell them it's not for sale, they will almost always follow up with "How much is it worth?".  It seems like a harmless question, but in reality the only point of it is to find out whether you know how much it's worth so that they can try and come after you later with an alt account or have one of their friends come after you to try and rip you off.  If you decline to answer them, sometimes they get really hostile.  Variations of this I've seen are "Did you unbox that?", or "What did you pay for it?".  In any case, the point is to feel out whether you know how valuable it is or not.

Over about 2 years, I have had that same conversation with people so many times that I cannot count it.  These fuckers are nothing if not predictable.

Aside from unusuals, especially taunts. Gawd

Finding pushy traders "Hey backpack.tf says your hat is worth this much so you have to sell it to me for this much! I added you too and send a trade offer!" Is my biggest grievance.

It's one thing to bargain another thing entirely to demand a lower price as if you're obligated to sell at whatever Backpack.tf tells you.

It sounds like you wanted him to sell you a hat cheaply because he's rich and can afford a little loss. Tell me how did you consider this a good idea? Traders want to trade for profit or liquidity, doesn't matter if they're rich or not. Asking them to trade for less just because they already have enough is a silly thing to ask in the first place.
