Dunno where to put this, sorry if this is the wrong place.

I can't be the only one getting this. It's been getting more and more frequent, with more and more backpacks getting this error when I try to look at them. Even my own is doing it now.

What's causing it, and is there any way to fix it?

Wait for the name to load and just click the name instead of pressing enter once entering the link. Happens to me to.

necroted is saying that when you have the url in the bar, wait for it to come up with the name in the box below before you hit enter, if I understand him correctly.

Can you give more details into what you are pasting in the address bar that causes this issue?

That's what I thought, but it gives the same result.

I post "backpack.tf/id/url-goes-here". It has always worked for me, this has only been an issue for a month or so, and gradually growing worse.

Is there any way to find the SteamID64 from people's Steam profiles?

Aye, go to the steam community page/steam profile page of the user.

Copy the link.

Paste it here and click search :

http://rep.tf/

Now beside the user's picture and info you will see this (Using yours as an example) :

SteamID64: 76561198053026375

SteamID32: STEAM_0:1:46380323

VanityURLhttp://steamcommunity.com/id/SpeshulPonee/

Profile Created: November 20 2011

TF2 Play Time: 1,350 hours

Est. backpack value2608.92 refined.

Owned games: 90

And SteamID64 is at the top.

Good luck and have fun!  ^_^

id/url won't work anymore, if it worked before it shouldn't have. Paste the URL in the address bar then press enter and you'll be ok. If you insist on using an URL when browsing to backpack.tf you'll need to use this link instead: http://backpack.tf/user/redirect?id=http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198045802942
