Autogen
Ok, I just need some (more) help with unusual logic in TF2 Gifted unusuals are frowned apon by many in the tf2 community. What if one was to get a Unusual Team Captain signed (gifted) from Mattie. Would that devalue or increase value? All help is apreciated

Grimes
Depends on the buyer. Some people might value it more than others if they are Mattie fanboys.

M.G.B.
depends on buyer, i tend to not buy gifted items even if there famous people
Ghost1237
"Check out this unusual gifted by the 49th best Spy player on Youtube during the month of January 2012! Only 5 buds extra!" ^ what I see whenever someone sells a "signed" unusual trying to be sold for more. Nobody really cares about signed stuff except for fanboys. It just leaves that ugly text on your hat.
The G What ™
Signed=gifted. And nobody likes gifted. No matter who it is. Some rare buyers will pay extra if they're fanboy collectors, but don't count on that.

Woifi The Viking
Gifted = worth less, some people might be fine with buying a gifted one from someone they like, or they gift it to friends.

Julia Gillard the Honest
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19983762 The idea suggested by the first comment here is exactly why "famous" signatures are generally unimportant. Maybe if you have a clean, short-history Sunbeams Party Phantom and got that signed by Stabby, it might retain most of its value, but most signings are just desperate attempts to hide a dirty, duplicated gift tag by some scammer, shark or random XxXxXxXxX.
