Part Compatibility

Hello, I want to help my friend with upgrading his computer. I set a budget of $250 (Price of an Xbox One S in USD) to buy a graphics card, a case and a power supply. The current computer that he has is: http://www.pcm.com/p/Lenovo-Desktop-Computers/product~dpno~40081053~pdp.baddidai. I would like to know if I can fit the I/O shield on standard Mid-Towers or will have to DIY one. Here is the PCPP of the suggested components. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/g96x7h

//EDIT

He has everything else, Monitor Peripherals, etc.

50/50, It's hard to know whether or not the I/O plate will fit, but you don't need one if it doesn't anyway, you also don't need a new cooler. HOWEVER, it looks like there is a bigger problem (or two), first off, the motherboard isn't a standard mITX board, so there's a good chance it won't fit in the case, and secondly, it doesn't use the standard 24-pin ATX power cable for the motherboard (so you would need a 24-pin to 14 pin adapter).

Would it be a better idea just to get another motherboard for the 4460S that he has currently?

Well, it might end up being cheaper to try and sell that system in its entirety and to just build something new.
