Hello!
AFAIK you can't avoid one week waiting. Just be patient.
From my experience I don't recommend to buy TF2 items on steam market.

You'll get better deals on marketplace.tf for example (also no waiting delay).

However buying something with steam funds and then selling it for refs is OK for starters, it worked for me pretty well.

Btw, this is the awkward question from the guy who has played TF2 for 2200+ hours.

Ew. Steam market is actually really under rated for trading. So easy to profit there.

next time if you want ref instantly just buy it on marketplace.tf or some paypal seller

Both of which are stupidly overpriced. Buy keys instead.

Isn't there a limit of like 200 sales or something before you get irl taxed? That is the main reason I avoid it.

Edit: also one week trade/market holds, that shit sucks.

No, 200 sales before they require your social security number. The irl tax comes after like $40,000 or something in a year. The hold doesn't matter in the grand scheme of making profits, you just gotta be plan it out.
