Vision
So lately my laptop has been acting really weird, it says that either my connection is limited, or that it's not connected, yet I have internet connection and everything works except the windows apps like store (that happens both on wi-fi and cable). And also every time I go into the network and sharing center it says "The dependency service or group failed to start". I have literally tried everything, and none of those "internet solutions" that i found worked, so if anyone has a solution I would be so thankful. Here's what it looks like : https://ibb.co/c1Ln8Q
Guest David
Have you tried opening cmd as admin and typing: netsh winsock reset catalog and then, netsh int ip reset reset.log hit then reboot the machine.
Guest Abhijeet
I had a hard time dealing with this issue when I was using 8.1. It used to get fixed randomly after uninstalling/reinstalling WLAN drivers or simply disabling/enabling WLAN adapter. Btw just upgrade to win 10 if possible, never faced that problem in 10. Already tried that before you suggested it,and yet again I did it, still nothing. 9 hours ago, Guest Abhijeet said: I had a hard time dealing with this issue when I was using 8.1. Also tried it again but no result. And no, updating is not an option.
pcdoctorwestchester
Try to get closer to the router and if the problem persists, get a AC WIFI adapter that gets plugged in via USB.
