The Oddball
http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-geforce-gtx1060-mini-itx-oc-6g-video-card/GV-N1060IXOC-6GD Are mini's worse performance or? With cooling, yes. You get less overclocking headroom.

JayTuut
Update Update: New patch for Wildlands which apparently makes it run better on AMD, but probably still gonna get the 1080 ;c
Lib3l
While I would recommend the rx480 this 1060 version you posted looks pretty good https://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814127963 I know it's not the same but I have a gaming X 470 and they are made very well and are very quiet, nice card. AwesomeMcCoolName
With cooling, yes. You get less overclocking headroom. It's not that huge of a difference on a 1060. The 1060 isn't usually thermally limited so much power/silicon limited. I know it's not the same but I have a gaming X 470 and they are made very well and are very quiet, nice card. You have to be careful when making generalizations like that as not all cards are equal. The DC2 on a 780 was good, a DC2 on a 290 was garbage (because one of the heatpipes didn't even make contact with the core).

According to twins the other one (being on sale as it is) is much better value, theres not much difference, or not a $30 worth difference

JayTuut
im awesome What about 1070? someone offered me a 8gb one (guess thats all they come in?) and i offered around $60 more then i was gonna spend on the 1060 6gb. His was only 2 months old and apparently "superclocked" from the factory peeps lmao. Which i assume is just slightly overclocked but just soundsd better. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1070-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/3609vs3639 According to this (which even does CS:GO fps and shit lmao) it is a lot better percentage wise, a lot faster and etc. Also wins all here http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-1070-vs-GeForce-GTX-1060

Sounds a bit too good. Also make sure you have a good cpu to avoid bottle necking. What games you plan on playing anyway?

Ghost recon wildlands on the highest setting hopefully, hitman on higher settings, 2k17/18 (which will be easy with any upgrade), BF1 possibly, Arma 3 a bit better, Black ops 3 and possibly newer cods if i feel like it. I can only run bo3 and wildlands right now on the lowest of low settings, hitman is like medium, 2k is like high visuals but low other things, and wanna move it up to ultra, BF1 i dont own yet, and arma 3 is like medium i think. And more but don't own them yet (btw the guy still has the reciept, he bought it for $650 2 months ago, and he wanted $500, i only offered him $430 (the 1060 was $370 for the good one, bit of a worse one for $350 on newegg), not sure if he'll accept tho)
