Big Backpack Guy Shot Down by VAC

WALL OF TEXT

Ello everyone, and yes I got VAC'd. Someone wanted me to post in the lmaoforums but i couldn't since i wasnt a member long enough. eh. Here will do that I guess...

The bio is incomplete due to me not realizing there is a character limit there. Whoops

I suppose I should start with how i feel about the ban wave since where I was supposed to post was the hack site. At first i thought it was just me getting banned from a report, not the entire system of lmaobox. It gave me a chuckle when I learned multiple tournament players got banned. As contradictory as this sounds, fuck those guys. They cheated their way into all those prizes and got their just deserts. As for any other use, such as mvm, i get it. Before i decided to jump on the bandwagon, hackers that I have seen in mvm were 100% nice. No flame or anything. I actually enjoyed the presence of a hacker. All the kids who aren't able to complete tours, since hyper-meta asswipes say that they bought all the wrong upgrades (therefore kick), got a shot at winning big. So, that's what i did for the majority of the hackening. The other minority would be either to let off some steam (hehe) or more frequently, run around with the holiday punch insta-tickling people and throwing cloaked spies sandviches not knowing how the hell i saw them.

"But JCapps, mvm has rewards, therefore you're no different from the tournament players!"

Mvm does not have human losers. Only computers. I myself am not a competitive player. To prove the point, I have not participated in a single competitive match from this entire update revolving around it. I'm a sore loser to put it straight forward. But that isn't all. I don't enjoy winning if someone else is hurt in a loss. This includes trading/profiting.

"But JCapps, TF2 is a competitive FPS game. Also, if you aren't profiting, how did you get all your items? Your argument is invalid #ggrekt"

First off, tf2 is not entirely a competitive game. The appeal I get from TF2 is from the characters and their personalities. I adore goofy shit, and TF2 was the goofiest shit at the time. I enjoyed all those sfms, gmod vids, etc, with the tf2 gang in there. Not just that, but the game modes like tf2ware, freak fortress, and fortwars all provided me a fun experience without having the need to win.

Secondly, and this may surprise many, I have never been making any profit.

 *GASP*

The only time i ever recall making profit was starting that whole robro monopoly shindig. And that was only playing with the market to see how others respond, not to mention it happening YEARS ago. If I trade in items, I overpay in items, otherwise I pay in straight cash. One of my best cash trade buddies was monkey, who I was happy to buy from, seeing that most, if not all of my money went to paying his bills. As dumb as this sounds, and it is, I feel bad about making a profit. That's starting to rail off the track off this whole scenario, so i'll leave this out for now.

"Jesus JCapps, cut the shit and get to why you hacked"

Ok ok, sheesh.

I needed a way to cut myself off from tf2 because it was slowly killing me off. I ended up "enjoying" TF2 for more and more for incorrect reasons than when i started. Saying "I quit" and selling my items simply wont do it. I thought I would be done once I sold my first gold pan, but NOPE! My mind knew that I could get it again, so i did just that; and the same thing is going to happen if i sell my stuff or donate it to charity.

Speaking of my mind, this really needs to get out of the way:

"I was only PRETENDING to be retarded!" -various comments

No, I AM retarded. There, i said it. I have been and are currently working with therapists and psychiatrists in order to figure out how to treat all these defects that I have, whether it be social anxiety or abnormal thought processes. I have a shit side and a good side of my brain. The shit side is usually the dominant side while the good side tries to appease the shit side without harming anyone on the way. Well, I don't want the shit side calling all of the shots! TF2 ended up becoming my only means of success according to shit side. Luckily, a combination of medication got me to realize that TF2 needs to stop since its draining me dry.

Anyway, the best conclusion that I got was to prevent myself from trading by some forced means. The first idea that popped in my head was to scam someone. Good side went "AH HELL NA" and stepped up to the plate yet again. Thank god for that. I then thought of my previous situation back in 2011 when my account got VAC for absolutely no reason (that's in the bio). When that happened, my items were untradable/deleted...well...what if I just get VAC'd? That can't hurt anybody unless I only wanted to. So that's what i did. BUT! Because of my addiction, it was hard to let go, so I shit side wanted to go oout with a bang and to take more and more risks for funsies if VAC didn't kick in anytime soon. LMAObox premium was what caught his eye, due to its "undetectable" nature to the system. Good side knew that users could use the new report system to ban me, so he, without much thought, agreed. Shit side enjoyed the view of mvm battles and wanted moooaar. So i admit, I let shit side have his fun. I went on a few beta maps and dustbowl and plucked some heads. At least good side kept shit side at bay and prevented me from starting anything tournament related or anything involving a prize. Shit side still wanted more though. He wanted to have the best of the best hats, the burning team captain...and he got his wish, by selling the set that was apparently no longer satisfactory for me, the beams polar-gold pan combo. Good side continued to struggle controlling shit side

I had finally got some folks to report me for seeing through walls, so that was somewhat of a relief. Unfortunately it occurred to me that Valve doesn't seem to participate in individual reports, seeing as nothing happened after about a month. Shit side got a huge kick out of that, as now he learns he has the power of hats and the power of hacks. All was doomed for good side at this point.

...

BUT THEN!

*KSSSSSH*

A WILD LORD GABEN APPROACHITH WITH HIS NEW ARMY OF VAC SUPER SOLDIERS!

VAC team used BAN WAVE!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PSHWEOWEOWEOWEO
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's super effective! *GWAAARRGLGLAAARRRR!*

Shit side fainted!

Shit side has eaten shit. It is a good day for good side and all of the TF2 community.

Sorry to everyone who disagrees, but I'm glad the ban wave happened. Shit sides of others hopefully will be put down after this. Trading shit sides...eeeehhh not so much, but this is a start. At least people can happily play in tournaments now without cheaters taking all the top spots. There are many good TF2 players that deserve those spots. I mean hey, I like makin people happy, a bunch of yall got a huge kick out of this whole thing right? And hell, i turned out to be quite the popular chap because of it too. That's a triple win. OH BABY A TRIPLE!

Why the Burning Team Captain though you may still be wondering. Well, good side knows shit side very well, and he knows he will want to gather is wealth and reign again. BUT! Since good side let shit side go too far and got a burning team captain, there's no way in HELL he'll be able to afford another one. Tricked at this own game! (Did I mention I'm retarded?)

For those who are struggling with their shit sides, search for help if you need to. I unfortunately was not able to control mine even with therapy because I caught onto it too late. If you feel like you are slowly letting yourself continue to feel unsatisfied with what you have, just remember what happened this week. Also as a misc, take a look at this thread http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/8051-somewhat-intellectual-conversation-with-a-phisher-rare/. Not everyone is full-shit side. There's a good side in everyone, even if its completely invisible. (insert corny pseudo-philosophical bullshit here)

I regret nothing, and to show that, I will be giving away a $20 steam gift card code to a fella of my choosing...or by chance? You decide. What do I do with it?

"Jee JCapps, you shoulda just raffled or donated the TC"

-_- You didn't read at all did you?

Thanks for reading, if you did. I will be moving to a new account eventually to eviscerate any potential contact with TF2 in case someone drops shit side a max revive. If you want to keep in touch, let me know. As much as I'd like to respond to any comments, I won't anytime soon. I've been typing for about 11 hours straight now with only 1 meal. I need foooob. Mario Maker is calling my name anyway.

TL;DR:
JCapps is glad the wave happened. He hacked in MvM which he views as acceptable, but hackers in tournaments, and in all other aspects of the game ruined it.

And this is why I didn't TL;DR. Only half of that is right.

This is a point that alot of people tend to whiz by. The wealth was part of the addiction. Cashing out would in return give me my wealth back which wouldn't solve anything since i'd immediately buy everything back again. This way I have no wealth to go back in right away, so it was prevented. Its a drastic course of action, but for me it was the only way. Deleting them would conjure up the same result as it would now, only this way I allowed my shit side to have his fun before slaying it.

Lol. Plucked out the important part eh?

No idea how i'd raffle it though.

A TL;DR would cause a misunderstanding, sorry.

TL;DR you were retarded and did some retarded things. Really, based on your wall of text, that's all there really is to it.

Or you could've just gave them away, seeing how you love to make people happy and stuff. You'd lose the wealth, so "shit side" won't have fun anymore. You'd also have made people happy, so "good side" would be satisfied. In other words, it's a win-win. Probably. Sorry, idk how a truly retarded person thinks.

Anyway, from the looks of it, you're either a genuine retarded person with actual mental issues or just an ordinary hacker like everyone else. If it's the former, I hope you can manage to solve your problems. If it's the latter, then eh, not much to say.

For the short time I knew you, ya seemed like a nice fella, so hopefully you'll enjoy doing other things.

Best of luck to ya and I appreciate the Pokemon references ;)

I mean this sucks, but you seriously seriously had this shit coming the moment you even considered you can get away with hacking via premium LMAObot. It's fine if you used it private, but you went public with it.

Blaming your mistakes on your "shit side" doesn't solve anything, that "shit side" is still you, and no one is going to think of you in any different way dude.

I might as well go punch a guy then tell him it's my shit side acting up again.

All I see is someone who desperately craves attention.

If you so desperately want to "fix" yourself, and you did this for that purpose, then why are you reliving this by posting it everywhere? People who honestly want to stop addictions and mental problems do it quietly, they don't make a whole fuss about it. You don't stop gambling and keep going to casinos, you don't stop drinking and keep hanging out in bars.

Congrats you got vac'd, now try to live a life outside of TF2 that you so desperately want.

Perhaps now is not a good time to discuss it seriously. I'd give it a few months to blow over after people realize that, hey, getting caught actually helped these guys too.

Whether you actually feel bad or not,

We walk away with a lesson that, cheaters never win unless you use flusha.exe and not all people are complete bastards.

Nobody will let you forget this event unfortunately, so hopefully that will motivate you to avoid finding a way to continue, and move on to better things.

Oh boy, this is some sweet video material.
