I've never had a chargeback.  Two things that are not widely known:

1. chargebacks are very rare.  Most people are not thieves.

2. rep doesn't protect you from chargebacks.  Good traders go rogue and it's always possible that someone is playing the long con in which case they will have lots of rep.

I may be interested in buying 3/4 keys from you (unsure how much is in my card) with USD.

I'll be online this afternoon about 5 PM EST.

I added you, panicked, and deleted you.

I am sorry; I'm trying to add you again. If you are still willing to trade, and I am offline at that moment, I will be back on in a few hours.

it's fine and I've added you.

For future reference, you can hack around the "ignoring you" bug that arises from a pre-accept removal.  Just block and then unblock the person, then you can add them again.

Just as a question, why would you never use a middle man?

Middlemen are just one more way to get ripped off (or like ten more ways).

As a seller, it doesn't improve my safety at all: the buyer can still charge back and MM doesn't prevent that.

For the buyer, it's also useless.  It's completely unheard of for a PayPal seller to run because the buyer would just reverse the charge and the seller would get a scammer tag.  The only way they won't get delivery is some technical issue, like I drop my phone in the toilet, or a plane crashes into my bedroom like in Donnie Darko.  Those same things could happen to a middleman.

The only situation where middlemen are justified is when a trade exceeds the items limit.  Historically this limit was 255 items (before trade offers) or 8 items (way back in the day).  Now that trade offers exist and the limit is 2000 (limited by backpack slots), and I'll never own an item worth that much, I can confidently say I'll never use a middleman.
