Since the gun mettle update was pushed a couple years back, skins have been unstable and risky to buy in the eyes of traders. I think this is because of the lack of a pricing system for skins and the fact that if you want to search for a particular skin, you'll end up with completely different results than what you were looking for. Even with the decorated quality that can be used as a filter in classifieds, looking for a skin in particular is pretty much impossible. I was wondering if anything could be done to fix using only steam market prices for skins, looking for a skin name (shell shocker, smalltown bringdown, etc.), and fixing strange skins in classifieds, which are impossible to find. Maybe there's a simple fix that I don't know about, but i'm curious. Thanks for reading

My favorite thing on this site by far is seeing threads started by scammers shut down instantly by mods who lock it, anytime i see a lock its gotta be good. A funny one I saw the other day was an obvious alt pretending not to know what refined was and that general level of b.s.. I would like to hear others tales of funny locked threads

putin: aka putina, rat, cunt, empire oof yugoslavia is a scammer. he has scammed many people and these people have come to me and told me that he had been scammed. I have to admit I was pretty stupid, I Thought something good about him, and thought he was being legit, he said he would pay me back. he gave me 7 cosmetics on the spot, and said that there were more to come, promising a key and the snack attack. this was about right item over pay right? exactly. he said he couldn't trade for 2 months because he removed authenticator, then he promised me an unusual then a headtaker, I declined both because i had waited long enough to get my items and then he ended up removing me and blocking me. Imho I believe I've solved the problem. If valve made a 1 in 1000 (or whatever) chance of crafting an unusual through regular crafting, maybe even a effect only from crafting??. It would be a huge metal sink, problem solved. Thank you
