Everyone knows a sword is a very great combat weapon. Whenever someone had a melee weapon in the old days, you will usually see someone with a sword, be it one-handed or two-handed. A sword represents power and skill, since wars were commonly fought with people in the front lines using them. However, a sword is more than just mere power. If a person just has sheer power, then they will easily be destroyed as they will not be able to keep up with someone. As well as this, it represents a responsibility. Most knights back in the old days were knighted by the king tapping them on both shoulders with his sword. The sword is supposed to be a representation of the responsibility of the mods. Not only does the broadcaster reflect upon the chat, but the mods do as well. If there are strict mods in a Twitch chat, then the broadcaster may be put in a negative light because of the limited free speech. However, a mod that does no action reflects poorly as well since they stand idly by while other people are making a bad reflection of the chat (aka the "chat experience"). The mods must be swift, but not with brute force as to abuse their powers (just like how a sword must be agile, but not strong enough as to break the blade).

This semester in college, I decided to proactively solve my communication difficulties with my peers, with a little bit of social experimentation mixed in. I am pretending to be mute, and I've written "I can't talk" on my right hand, and I flash it at anyone who attempts to talk to me. I told my teachers this beforehand because I realized they might try to get me switched into a special needs class otherwise, so they know not to try to talk to me. They think I'm a psych major doing early research for his eventual dissertation on the necessity of speech versus body language in communication. To be honest,I've never felt so free around people in my life. I laugh, but I don't use my vocal cords to project it, just the contraction of my diaphragm and an expulsion of air. Though the other students think there is something very wrong with me, its been a fun experience so far and I'm only two days in. I suspect I'll grow bored of it and regret my decision soon, because I can never reveal my secret to them now. A couple of times I almost spoke but had to bite my tongue. It bothers me a lot when I have something great to say and I can't. If there are any new interesting developments I'll post them here.
Presenting Dec's top YouTubers and streamers, ranked by their monthly stats!
Uncle Dane mains the Engineer, which received nerfs during the Tough Break update. He lamented at the nerfs during a recent video.
NISLT recently launched a new series that features in-depth interviews with top TF2 pro players and content creators. It's nice to see him become more active in the competitive scene! NISLT's series is hosted by Sideshow, a competitive TF2 caster and player.
Congrats to FUNKe for reaching 100k YouTube subscribers in December! A few weeks ago, FUNKe released a video explaining why he thinks the updated Phlogistinator weapon is overpowered. The Phlogistinator has been a hot topic of discussion since the Tough Break update, so it's no surprise that the video below generated hundreds more comments than FUNKe's other December videos. Note: A few days after FUNKe's video was uploaded, Valve released a patch that prevented the Pyro's invulnerable period from lasting longer than its taunt.
Muselk, ranked #2, is in the process of making a 2015 "highlights" video.
B4nny kicked off 2016 by announcing that he may alter the logo of Froyotech, his competitive TF2 team. Because of B4nny's influence in the competitive scene, Valve has asked him to help test the competitive matchmaking mode. According to B4nny's recent videos and tweets, matchmaking development is coming along nicely.

Deku woke up at 5am and was instantly greeted by emmy when he opened steam. He then ate breakfast and played MvM with Pilo. Later, he will take an exam. Edit: The exam went well except that he forgot his calculator.
I don't really like suggesting to be honest, and I always do fail to satisfy myself after finishing the suggestion when it has a tiny bit of error. Gonna leave my "hard work" here so if you guys have anytime, you can help me suggest!

Hey, TF2 players! Come check out the latest from the game's top YouTubers, including how this month's #1 creator reacted to the recent TF2 Arkham Knight contest and Saxxy Awards.
It's Uncle Dane's first top 5 appearance! This Engineer player uploads YouTube videos weekly. Uncle Dane's latest video is a hilarious parody of Drake's Hotline Bling song, remade with lyrics written about the TF2 Engineer. You can listen to the song below. It's always exciting to see creators take a risk and upload something out of the ordinary!
NISLT has returned! After a nearly month-long absence due to IRL commitments, NISLT began uploading again on November 19th. You can check out the video that marks his return below. NISLT is back in the groove of daily uploads, so next edition we fully expect him to shoot up the rankings and challenge Muselk for the top spot. Like many players on our list, NISLT has been dabbling in Overwatch.
B4nny, the leader of team Froyotech, is the sole competitive player in our top 5. After a disappointing 3rd place finish at the latest ESEA-I tournament, Froyotech was disbanded. B4nny went on to assemble a group of new teammates earlier this week. Thanks to B4nny, we've got some exciting news to share about the competitive matchmaking feature that was announced earlier in the year: Last week, B4nny received a beta pass to test the feature with TF2's developers. A release date hasn't been announced, but rumors are that it will go live in just one or two months!
FUNKe's Steam Group has grown to over 10k members, and he's noticed a rise in malicious players attempting to phish information from unsuspecting members. Unfortunately, this is a common problem in many large Steam groups. FUNKe touches on the subject in the video below. It's worth the watch if you're a member of a large Steam group run by a popular content creator. Always be wary of impostors, and don't give out your private info to other members of the group!
Muselk, who celebrated his 21st birthday a few weeks ago, is back on top! He generated the most new YouTube subscribers and video views during the past month. Click here to read Muselk's opinion on this year's Saxxy Award nominees. Muselk's TF2 videos average over 200,000 views.

From the day i moved from my parents home .. life seems to be interesting to say the least
I've been away since end of September .. adapting to living with your friends can be a challenge .. a really fun challenge. Cleaning cooking washing the dishes cleaning the toilets mopping the ground .. doesnt seem good on paper but trust me, FUN. Being Arab (and me being the youngest of 5) you really dont get a lot of chances to stay home late or sleep over .. so living alone is a whole different experience (miss you mom </3)
University is going alright (expect of my shitty marks .. nearly all i get is Cs) .. i have entered civil engineering but im thinking to change the course as i didnt like it a ton .. maybe i will switch to computer science/newtorking/or heck english literature (dont even ask)
I saw Kodorin's blog .. it really had me thinking. Just like his days, i spent ALOT of time on tf2 in general and bp.tf+forums back in the day, and when i open the forums or main site now, i dont really feel like commenting or writing anything let alone making a suggestion. It was such a great experience to go over the internet with great people and just talk and share interests together, truly a golden time! No this is not me saying goodbye (i mean im pretty much only playing Rocket League). Thanks for everyone for the great times here :3
P.s sorry for my un-organized and long post P.s.s did you hear Coldplay's newest album ? Some really awesome tracks in there !
Stay cool y'all
This is my first attempt to make a blog entry, pardon my errors and such.
I have been very busy lately, homeworks, projects, etc. everywhere. But I still manage to take a quick glance of what is happening at the forums, just a place where I normally chill and socialize with other peeps. Hope I do well this semester and get things done.
Stay Cool Forums
Hooray for insomnia, I have a horrible tendency to develop one during break, and I seriously don't feel like doing break work atm.
But wow, as of posting for this, I have been offline from Steam for 79 days. I mean wow. During that timeframe, I have largely not given a consideration or thought about Steam and its community that i've been part of for years. It's mind-boggling. It's funny and also sad how some things that was once a big part of your life can degrade to insignificance. I remember frantically checking my trades in Outpost, voting for items during my downtimes on backpack.tf, and patiently waiting for hours on trade.tf. Yet here I am, offline with no considerations of Steam and my memories associated with.
How have I been doing? I can largely make a broad summary by saying that I've been busy. My goals that I've been working out is set on a course that I can't really turn back at this point. I'm still at the age where I have to make crucial decisions what to do in life like jobs and etc, and to be perfectly honest, I really don't truly know. I have an idea, but not really. But while I'm still searching for that answer, I decided that the best way to deal with that is to give myself the most options. That was why I partly decided to previously quit Steam as not only was my passion burning out, it pretty much consumed a lot of my time and if I were to stick with it, my options would be significantly less. Perhaps I will return to the level of my prime? Maybe. But I rather try out my options before I may regret with a singular option instead.
Sometimes, I wish I can relive the past and simply freeze it. Actually, a lot of times I wish I can freeze time. I do have a lot of regrets, loneliness, and pains in life that I largely keep personal, so I cherish the good parts of my life. My time here at backpack.tf and Steam community was one of those good parts during my prime. What some may see as mundane and repetitive, it was my passion. During some of my rough patches as time went on after I made my conscious decision to leave, I often wonder: what if I didn't request a ban? Would I regain my passion? Would I be happier? Would I have a sense of purpose? Could I possibly balance the workload that I've targeted myself with? There can arguably be many answers here, and all of them would probably be correct in some ways. But what stands here is that I miss that chapter in my life, and I wish that I can go back and relive those moments without worry of other arbitrary external things. I miss it. In fact I missed it so much that I've tried to come back multiple times, but failed. I just can't come back. It doesn't feel right. When I try to set up a suggestion to eventually request an unban, it feels like a chore. When I try to cash out, I feel the boredom and stress creeping through my skin. When I look at the suggestion votes, I honestly don't care. A juxtaposition to my original passion. It only makes me wish more that I can relive the past and freeze time.
I unno, I just wanted to say a lot of things before I go on another Steam hibernation, and I honestly doubt there's that many people that care what I do at this point, but I hope everyone, friends and old rivals alike, are doing well and that backpack.tf can flourish to even greater heights than what I can remember. Hopefully the economy doesn't crash and burn like so many boldly predicted years ago. I hope that one of you out there can successfully create so many suggestions at unforeseen heights, that you can be remembered, forever. I hope that the moderating team can shine so bright that they would be unparalleled to any other mod team in any other community. Most of all: I hope your passion never burns out at whatever you do.
Some guy I am.
http://puu.sh/ly8E2/27909b7f75.jpg - me a couple years ago at an orchestra sort-of reunion. I refuse to show my current self because I got a pretty bad haircut, lol.
It saw unusual in bp.tf and there was called me the attention the cosmetic one for the sniper, it was an Anger with the unusual effect Terror-Watt and I have not achieved it to find, I would like to know if someone was managing to find this one cosmetic in tf2outpost they might write to me the link please
Conversation between three members of my band's trumpet section: Guy, Black Girl, and Me. Any implications of inducing harm are mere jokes. It runs in my school's community; we're rather ghetto. :/
*Guy grabs a long black bar in the room we're having sectional practice in* Girl: "Why did you grab that?" Guy: "I'ma going to hit you with it." Girl: "Don't do that! That's racist!" Me: "You say it's racist. I say it's historically accurate." *Every trumpet player in the room proceeds to burst out laughing*
I swear the Trumpet section is the darkest, weirdest section in my school's band...

I have a meme that all memes can't come close to match. My meme is dankest of memes. Only the dankest memers may touch it. Only of the very elite memers have ever seen this meme. "Can I see this meme?" you ask with a studder in your voice. "NO" I say back to you, asserting my dominance. You cannot touch this meme, for you will never be dank enough to know what this meme is.
