People still know me ?

To answer the title .. i dont think so tbh .. haven't been here for ages   I tried to start writing a diary; paper based or electronical (is this a word?) .. both failed .. so i just like to throw some things here on the internet that i dont think anyone will see or care about yay   One week from now i will finish my first year in University .. i studied engineering and i absolutely hated it. After 18 years (19 in august) i realised that i am not a calculus/physics/chemistry guy, but hey, better late than never.   Marketing/Journalism is the way to go i suppose .. so apparently next year will again be year 1 for me .. yay ?   Should I continue in my university away from my parents ? Because heck i love it here i can eat junk and do whatever i want, which is not that great of a thing as i gain 7 freaking KGs in 8 months .. gg
However, my parents are like now in their 60s and I'm their youngest son and i feel like getting to a university their would do suitable, they didnt accept me last year so im crossing my fingers that they will this year.   First year was a blast .. met so many new people and grew alot as a human being, especially volunteering in helping the Syrian refugees here in Jordan, they are too many and you can provide just a little it is quite hard   I wish i can continue here, and i wish i can study next to my parents at the same time .. decisions decisions and more decisions to make this summer, gonna be a fun ride !!
tl;dr no one remembers me anyway   Cheers bp.tf lads! you were always great to me

Fake words with Alfie Omega! 3

Incoroil
In-core-row-will   The act of intentionally using the grammar in a sentence incorrectly in order to emphasize a comparison beyond the superlative.   (Well, I don't know how to make a sentence of this, so I'll just use it instead of making a contextual sentence of it.)   "Your performance was the worstest of all of them."
"You're more stupider than my stupid brain!"

Top 5 YouTubers & Streamers: April 2016

Presenting the month's top YouTubers and streamers, ranked by their stats!     Click here to view the article source. Here are the some highlights:   #5: Tagg   Join us in welcoming Tagg to the top 5! Tagg is a former competitive player who made the transition to entertaining viewers on Twitch and YouTube. He placed #1 in ESEA seasons 13 and 14, during which he teamed with B4nny on High Rollers Gaming. Check out a highlight from Tagg's stream below! It features an appearance from Ster, who still plays but no longer makes TF2 videos.     #4: siN (NISLT)   NISLT only uploaded seven videos during this period, which is fewer than half his regular output. His latest video, which you can check out below, was uploaded on April 19th. This isn't the first time that NISLT has gone MIA; he took a break late last year to handle some IRL commitments. NISLT is generally quiet on social media, only taking time to post links to his videos, so we haven't seen any official announcements from the man himself. His YouTube video comments are filled with subscribers wondering what's up.   #3: Uncle Dane   Uncle Dane, the master engineer, is closing in on 200k YouTube subscribers! At his current pace, he should reach the milestone during June. In the video below, Dane teaches fellow engineers how to deal with pesky spies. In less exciting YouTube news, Dane's Sentry Beep video (which contains a song parodying Drake's Hotline Bling) was claimed by EMI. The video is still viewable, but Dane will no longer receive ad revenue from it.   #2: B4nny   Earlier this month, B4nny and team Froyotech took 1st place at ESEA Season 21. It was a nice return to form after they placed 3rd during the previous season. B4nny has been reviewing his Twitch subscribers' demo gameplay on stream. B4nny's goal, as stated in his video description: "The purpose is to share my experience with them and offer a new perspective on their playstyle so that they can improve. It is assumed that people will improve their DM naturally over time so I try to focus on gamesense, decision making and positioning advice during my reviews."   #1: Muselk   Get hyped, TF2 zombie mod fans! Muselk opened a dedicated server for TF2 zombies! The first server is located in the US, with additional servers being launched soon in the EU and Australia. Click this link to see the updated list of server IPs and check out the video below to watch Muselk's server announcement video. As usual, this month Muselk dominated the new YouTube subscriber and video view categories.   Click here to view the article source.

I love her

I thought that I wouldn't have a "plan" for life. I would just work and live alone in life. I contemplated the thought of having a child and thought it might be a good idea. I didn't really think much about it until that point. It started slowly. First, I thought that I'd prefer having a daughter, then I thought of a name, then her full name; then into other things like whether she'd like her name, how much she'd love me, how much she'd hate me, and I could keep going on. I felt those wonders and sorrows that she would give me in my life and I'd not care too much for I'd still love her for being my daughter. Then I realized something. This was not a child that I could maintain, nor even get into my hands. I imagined myself working somewhere low-paying but manageable. At the very worst, I imagined working at McDonalds getting barely the amount of money needed to pay for rent. Adding a child into that mix would mean not being able to support them, letting them dying by my hands, and I couldn't accept that. I'd decided from then I'd work harder, to give my very best and to make the feeling of hopelessness subside.   I'm still a young lad. I'm too young to be even thinking this far into the future. I used that excuse for every emotion that I felt. "No. I'm not sad. I'm just an edgy teenager that believes they're sad. My feelings are not real. You should not have feelings like this." I'd keep saying this to just stop feeling any emotion I didn't want to feel. Of course, it never worked but I felt better trying. I face now the question of "Should I keep pursuing this goal or deal with it later?" "Your love for the daughter you plan to have is not real. You are just an edgy teenager that has 'feelings'." My problem with these thoughts is that I do love her. I know I love her. I tell myself that I do every day. Yet I still think my feelings are not real, that they are created by my mind because I'm a "stupid and an edgy teenager", that I feel that I shouldn't be working harder because I don't love her.   I hate to sound so redundant, but I do love her.   I'm sorry that the writing is so sloppy. I just wanted a place to let it off my chest as fast as possible, and this place seemed best to do that.   TL;DR: Having a daughter sounds great, but can I support her? Are my feelings even real?
DRTTL;DRBIWTL: Daughter, support? Feelings, real?

Top 5 YouTubers & Streamers: March 2016

Presenting the month's top YouTubers and streamers, ranked by their stats!     5.

Uncle Dane returns to the top 5 after a one-period absence! Thanks to TF2's new integration of Twitch streams on the main menu, Uncle Dane recently broke his record for number of concurrent stream viewers. Uncle Dane recently made a video cautioning viewers against 'worshiping' influential content creators. It's more serious than his usual content and well worth a watch.

4.

FUNKe posted solid numbers on YouTube and Twitch, allowing him to maintain the #4 spot for the second straight period. Last month, FUNKe observed that he tends to receive fewer views on videos that he's proud of and more views on videos that he's less proud of. It's a paradox that many YouTubers - even ones outside of the gaming sphere - have to deal with.

3.

Congrats to NISLT for reaching 500k YouTube subscribers! If NISLT maintains this pace, he'll reach another milestone - 300 million total video views - around July 2016. NISLT runs one of the most diverse TF2 YouTube channels; he offers an eclectic mix of short clips, montages, competitive recaps, and interviews.

2.

During the past month, most of B4nny's YouTube uploads have been highlights from his Twitch stream. B4nny and his team, Froyotech, are back on the competitive grind. Follow the Twiitter accounts of B4nny and Froyotech to keep up with their streamed matches.

1.

In late March, Muselk was invited to London to play a mystery video game. He couldn't reveal the name of the game until March 30th, but he gave some strong hints that the game was Doom ("I'd be doomed if I told you what it was," he hints in one video). Despite dabbling in other games, Muselk found time to upload plenty of TF2 videos during the past month.

April Foul-ups: Some Dos and Don'ts for April Fools Pranks

Ah April Fools Day. A time for merriment and silliness. Like Halloween, it's one of those days cordoned off for behavior that would normally be considered awkward or unusual. But, as often happens on these normalcy-flaunting holidays, people mess up. The social mores and rules are poorly defined, and people often rush to do something silly and step over the line. For today's meandering musing post, I'd like to discuss some things that make a good--or bad--April Fools prank.   The first thing to remember about April Fools pranks is that they should not disrupt the normal operation of your business/site/whatever. Presenting fake news on a news website, watermarking images on an image website, or disrupting/impeding users in any way is not a good idea. April Fools pranks should not be malicious in nature. They shouldn't be destructive or inconvenient or mean-spirited. FIMfic ran into this problem a few years ago: they announced they were banning HiE and people were appropriately annoyed. Derpibooru made a similar mistake this year.   The next thing to remember is that restraint is important. Making too many pranks not only makes each one less funny, it also increases the chances that each one may be taken seriously. Again, see FIMfic's botched April Fools day: not only did they make the aforementioned announcement, they also had 2 other joke posts from site reviewers and the FIMfic gold thing. Derpibooru not only watermarked their images this year, but also changed all their spoiler images to the same "premium content" image. Sometimes this can be a result of multiple subgroups within a community each doing their own thing, of course, but not always.   The final thing to remember is that it is okay not to do anything for April Fools. A good prank should not be rushed or poorly planned. Likewise, some things and services simply do not lend themselves to April Fools pranks. If you can't come up with a good one, then don't force something out. This can also heighten impact for later years: after all, if you skip doing a prank one year, then the next one will be less expected.   So what are some good examples of pranks that follow these ideas? A personal favorite prank of mine was Netflix's a few years ago: they replaced several of their usual categorical suggestions (like "Comedy", "Inspirational Documentaries", etc.) with some rather...specific ones
  What were some April Fools pranks that you found particularly memorable? And were they memorable because they were funny, or because they were bad/inconvenient/overdone?   I was going to link to a Wall Street Journal article about Google and Yahoo messing up their April Fools pranks this year, but apparently it's now hidden behind a paywall. So have a gif instead, I guess;

Top 5 YouTubers & Streamers: February 2016

Presenting the month's top YouTubers and streamers, ranked by their stats!     5.
Nate Fox cracks the top 5 for the first time! We've been tracking Nate for a while, and we're excited to finally be able to feature him on our list. Nate doesn't upload frequently, but each one of his videos is well crafted.   4.
FUNKe didn't get a chance to participate in the initial competitive matchmaking stress tests due to team scrims and matches, but we have no doubt that he'll end up joining a stress test in the near future.   3.
After taking a couple of breaks during the holiday season, NISLT is now back in the swing of things and moving up our list! He's once again uploading daily YouTube videos, including short clips, long compilations, competitive news and interviews.   2.
Want in-depth competitive matchmaking analysis? We suggest following B4nny, a competitive TF2 player who has been providing feedback to Valve since the beginning. Check out the video below to see B4nny participate in one of March's many beta stress tests. According to B4nny, a recent stress test on March 4th kept crashing due to too many players trying to participate. As he put it, this is a good problem to have because it shows that interest in the game mode is high!   1.
Muselk is this edition's undisputed YouTube champ. During the past month, he generated 13k more new subscribers and 4 million more video views than anyone else on the list.

Top 5 YouTubers & Streamers: January 2016

Presenting the month's top YouTubers and streamers, ranked by their stats!     Uncle Dane, an Engineer main and the #5 ranked creator for three straight periods, has been promoting the competitive matchmaking beta. Uncle Dane doesn't upload YouTube videos as frequently as some of the other creators on our list, but his content is all about quality, not quantity.   NISLT has been focusing on competitive TF2! He recently created two new series on his YouTube channel: an interview series with influential members of the competitive scene, and a weekly competitive news series. If you're not into the competitive scene, don't worry - NISLT still uploads plenty of fun clips, montages, and "how-to" videos.   This edition marks FUNKe's fifth straight appearance on our list. Fun fact: As of January 31st, FUNKe's most popular video is 31k views away from 1 million.   B4nny has been providing Valve with competitive matchmaking feedback for longer than anyone else. Now that Valve is extending beta invites to more players, the buzz surrounding competitive matchmaking is beginning to grow. B4nny has been way more active on YouTube during the past two months, and the result has been a 400k increase in monthly video views.   January was a historic month for Muselk, who reached the 500k subscriber milestone on the 20th. Muselk also spent part of his January filming for a gaming TV show on Disney XD.   Click here to view the blog source and the full article.

SMNC

There's a reason I only played ten hours. Most people that I knew got turned off after one and a half. Broken matchmaking systems, the lack of dev support, waiting for literally up to ONE AND A HALF HOURS or so for either L0Z0rThaP3ngu1nofDOOM, xXxDeath_MasterxXx, or juan.santos2005 to join in, the fact that the top guide nowadays is made specifically to get people in and out as fast as possible, and the fact that the majority of the 40 people still playing this game have turned into a toxic mess rivaling low tier competitive LoL or DOTA just makes it a awful game to be on.   The hat's you get from this game for TF2 look bad, and the cosmetics you get in this game are overpriced to oblivion AND look bad. If the Mann Co. Store from TF2 and EA's cosmetic DLC system had a baby, it would be the Uber store, which currently in a eternal sale because of how little it's been used. If you like old memes and wasting cash, look no further.   Along with ugly costumes, it has honestly one of the worst class buying systems out there. Heroes of the Storm got nothing on this. Basic characters, like stronger tanks or longer range characters, have to be unlocked with hard earned THOUSANDS of coins (The TANK class, for example, needs 4500 coins). You only get like 40 coins per win/loss. This is a problem, and often leads to new players get destroyed by older, richer, and more class unlocked players.   On the bright side of this mess, the combat's in SMNC is alright. With the 5 classes you get unlocked, out of the game's unlockable 17, being fun to use when you finally do good (rarely), and offer different playstyles which spices up the game a bit. Blitz is pretty cool as well, a Tower Defense sort of deal against the robots that gives lots of XP on completion. Use this if your grinding for that last TF2 hat, you're going to need that last boost after spending time during the dead hours of the game.   In short, with a tiny community practically rivaling DOTA/LoL levels of toxicity, overpriced and ugly cosmetics and hero unlocks, ridiculous grinding for ugly rewards, and a horrendous amount of waiting, even for a dead game, the combat and game modes can't save this from not getting a recommendation.
