Please understand, I'm not a shark: Confusion and Misunderstandings.

Hello, backpack.tf members! I just wanted to introduce myself as I am the new owner of a burning brotherhood of arms. I am posting this as I have been getting confused with a different user who sharked someone out of their hat. I purchased my hat over marketplace.tf and have had no problems otherwise. Thank you all very much for reading and hopefully, this will mean fewer people calling me a shark in pubs!

You don't own the one that got sharked previously so its all good. Nice purchase btw, congrats.

I guess some people would see it as kinda ironic if you would have sharked Wayne (previous owner, the person whom you bought it from on marketplace).

And yeah as Vinny said, a burning boa was recently sharked and I guess more people than usual know about it so that's why you get comments. Should cool down after a while I hope for your sake.

I have no clue what you people are talking about , is the shark trade the one where wayne purchases it for cancerous items , that are hardly worth 1000 keys   in exchange of burning boa - sexy unusual worth 3000+ , or is it some other one ?

Different one, iirc there was a whole forum drama around it recently because the guy tried to defend himself here and ended up being found out when he was posting forged inventory histories. It was kind of surreal actually.

Wayne's actions are usually on the...questionable side, but he knows what he's doing and he's not going to destroy his trading career over a simple Burning BoA. The usual "shark" definition is <=10% of the item's value.
