Clarification of Rules for Trading Sub Forum

I would like clarification if threads under the trading sub forum having to be fully independent. I've made multiple threads before about my auctions and seen a couple of other users do it as well. I would like to know if this is a firm rule going forward as I was a bit surprised of my threading getting locked as they've never been locked before.

You will probably find the mod is just making a name for themselves. If independent means that you cannot use links to other sites then the mod is doing half a job. half of the posts in this forum advertise and link to other sites......

Well now. I am going to report the mod for abuse then.

It's not mod abuse. Trading threads are for advertising trades and gathering offers. Yours is just a link to an auction, there is no offering via this site even useful here. Use the status updates for that.
