My 2TB USB (Wish) Journey!

This is for people wanting to buy some, seeing which are trustworthy, which work... and which you shouldn't buy.

Each may have their own notes. I was looking for 3.0 now but there were A LOT untrustable at 2.0... but you should be able to find them yourself with the ratings (make sure to right click and translate to English :P)

Buyable:
https://www.wish.com/c/583462067daa371035529e94~ very very good ratings, USB 3.0, but Sold out

https://www.wish.com/c/57b28ee8eff2e649d550df1c~ the one I am buying, pretty good rating but Note: Only 1.88 TB, not 2 according to around 5 reviews i saw

Questionable (don't know if buyable or not):

https://www.wish.com/c/5807471b76a75c2a2889977c~ Not enough ratings to know

https://www.wish.com/c/583be277e173472b728d5ffb~ no ratings or shop?

https://www.wish.com/c/582ee2364884da1dfc2d5ce5~ Apparently pretty slow for 3.0.... but fully 2TB

https://www.wish.com/c/5809e720a964b43ccd7b6a4d~ seems maybe good enough to be in buyable but people have lost files cause they wanted it to format

https://www.wish.com/c/57f21d58c76ef32b4818211b~ not enough reviews, apparently comes really late

https://www.wish.com/c/57c7e01f58b27f1fae9c2bf8~ some of them have issues? Some dont? Gamble lol

https://www.wish.com/c/58669479f7d05b4efe71aa0c~ no ratings

Do not buy:

https://www.wish.com/c/584c196eece24e4f17a3ba12~ is 2TB but 2.0 not 3.0 as it shows

https://www.wish.com/c/5809e77982152e3e24e8afb7~ very slow and defective

I bought a few flash drives from Gearbest and I found it was a good deal. For instance, I got a Sandisk 32 go usb 3.0 flash drive for 12 euros.

I find yours incredibly cheap. High storage, high speed and very reasonable price.

Im going to let you know right now, there is no such thing as a 2TB USB, everything you see now are just fakes probably that had its rom flashed to fake "2TB" on windows.

That video explains it pretty well.

Should this topic be deleted then since anything to do with even 1TB flash drive is a scam?

External hard drives and SSDs exist. Also come on did you really think this was legit? 9 bucks just screams nigerian prince when something like this costs 13.

Even if you say that I still won't believe you until you run the clean command in command prompt. Only side effect is it deletes all data in the process

Here's a guide since I can't be assed to write it manually

It actually works, only has 1.88 but I've used 1 TB already and its fine :D

You wont be able to access most the stuff on there, why the hell would you even need a 2TB usb anyway?

There's a big problem though.....2tb flash drive are even more expensive than hard drives and the first 2tb flash drive was just paper launched and will likely cost over $1000.

Also, the one Nick bought comes up with this error now.

All of these flash drives are fake. They only have like 8gb of storage. Theres a took to test the actual capacity of a flash drive.
Copy all your data off it and run this:

If you run the clean command in the command prompt like I stated earlier it also restores the drive to its actual capacity whether it was displaying a higher or lower capacity than actual.

It doesn't work that way man

When you think about it companies that make the stuff already have their own production lines with all the equipment necessary and the ability to buy components in bulk. It would just get even MORE expensive if you bothered to make your own drive of any size
