pandeux
So I wanted to see if some items I bought the other day from the Steam community market were duped or not. They're still non-tradable (7 day non-tradable thing after buying from the SCM) and on the backpack tf history thing it just shows me as the first and only owner. It doesn't do it for all the still non-tradable items I bought off the SCM though. Maybe the guy that uncrated these items had a private backpack? ksolis01
It could be a private backpack, never logged onto bp.tf before, etc. I have an purple confetti co-pilot that shows me as the first owner. However, if you check your market history, you can see who you bought it from.
Weedoof
It just means the item wasn't in backpack.tf's database before you bought it. This could be because he had a private backpack, like you suggested, but it's also possible that the previous owner(s) just never opened their inventory on bp.tf while they owned the item. pandeux
Thanks guys! I was thinking I had some bugged Strange Sandvich. Nothing to worry about then And yeah ksolis01 that's a great idea with my Steam community market history, I can check to see who the seller was. pandeux
Found the seller of the sandvich in my community market history and his backpack has been private for over 3 years, issue fully resolved.
