Why do people prefer CS:GO economy over TF2 economy?

Everytime I'm browsing through these ''how to make profit'' and ''tf2 is dying'' threads I always noticed that there are many peope who claim that it's easier to make profit in the CS:GO economy. Why is this a commonly shared thought? Because all I know is that you can trade a bunch of weapons on the Steam Market which includes fees so I never thought it was very profitable. If someone could explain, thanks!

I was trying to find a way to make a sarcastic joke about CS:GO and TF2 and couldn't be bothered to, so I'll just say it's because people like to pretend CS:GO is a good game compared to TF2 and that you get absolutely massive personal customization with the one weapon you hold in your hand (and now expensive gloves) in CS:GO then you do by having cosmetics, hats, weapons and every other madcap thing in TF2 put together.

The currency and items in CSGO are more market dependent than currency dependant. If TF2 could distance itself from BP.TF price "suggestions" it would probably be just as good (MAYBE). I also personally think that TF2 has a heavily regulated trade system on the websites, but maybe that's just me.

P.S. I dropped TF2 trading about a year ago because the community is toxic and the trading is a dumpster fire. I never picked up CSGO because it wasnt a game I could get into.

People view csgo as a more stable, growing economy and as tf2 as being past its prime. Honestly the csgo economy has really become the same as tf2's after all the gambling sites were shut down, however its items are considered easier to sell for full price due to the larger player base

Main Problem:

-TF 2 Community < CS:GO Community ( amount, not quality )

Problem number 2:

- Items in tf 2 : Keys, Crates, Taunts, Hats, Skins, a shit ton of cosmetics in various qualities, stranges, vintages etc.

- Items in CS:go : Crates, Keys, Weapon skins, Pins and Badges. THAT'S ALL

Tf 2 traders have got a much bigger base of items to choose from, whereas CS:go has got just skins and nothing else, therefore making it easier and faster to trade. May not be quite profitable in single trades, but at least trades are done like 50 % faster. In tf 2 you might make a huge profit in a single trade, but you need both time and luck, in much bigger quantities.

I hate cs:go trading i don't trade csgo because its really harder to make profit and people in csgo trading are really cancerous almost are scammer try to scam everytime when i was use longue 1/2 offer are scam and a lot are lowballer and often in csgo is impossble to negotiate when i asking to add a bit more they insulting because i asking to add more. i like tf2 trade because people are more serious with they offer  and people are really more friendly on tf2 and less scammer and easier to make profit. on csgo 9/10 offer are scam/lowball only 1/10 offer are fair only 1 offer on 50 offer is good for profit.

I hate csgo trading. The only situation where it is really good is trading an unusual for a knife and then get market money or keys. However, tf2 having an actual trading currency, ref, which allows for more market discrepancies between trading and scm. Market differences that go beyond the 15% loss to fees.

Tf2 is more of a trading simulator with the refined metal and how you can craft refined using reclaimed and scrap, but csgo is more of heavily bartering since skins don't lose that much value and have a high demand on them, where unusuals in tf2 have a player preference on if they like it or not.

I tried csgo trading for a good week to test it, I had 6 keys, I bought an awp boom when they were 8, but you rarely get those kind of trades. Idk if this is me but for the past few years, I always start Tf2 in September and leave around February to go into csgo, I always get those really good trades around 3 days after I get back into each game like whether its 25 keys profit in unusuals, or a key profit for 1 ref. When I did the Awp Boom trade, it happened my first 3 hours of trading.

Hell man, it's so hard to trade up for CS:GO I send a crap ton of offers every day, put up ads in lounge and advertise I'm buying skins and I get nothing. The few offers I do get are people selling their skin for 25% more than what it's worth in keys or the people who won't negotiate/don't speak english. I get over 10 scam offers a day. CS:GO trading has not been fun so far.
