MaliciousMango
Hey Guys, Having a bit of a problem with offline training. Certain maps like all payloads cause my game to instantly crash and other maps that do work fine have the weapon view models all screwed up. They don't even look like the weapons they're supposed to certain classes like the heavy hold ALL weapons like the minion including sandvich and gloves. The scout holds all weapons (milk, bat) like the scattergun, the demo holds them all like the sticky launcher (even reloading the grenade launcher like the sticky launcher) and strangest of all the spy holds the knife like the pistol. It renders the game pretty much unplayable from ana theistic perspective, other than the degreaser the pyros weapons don't even appear. This is made even more strange by the fact that online, on any server, everything else is perfect. In every game mode my view models are spot on and nothing is wrong the problems are strictly limited to offline training. I'd really liked to have this fixed and I don't know where to turn I can't find any solution. Thanks any help is appreciated
puddingkip
This sounds like a buggy clientside mod that servers override. Empty /tf/custom and try again?

RockSolidWood
sounds like something that may happen when playing randomizer, so perhaps youve played that and the view models have stayed similar? The only thing i can think of is that youve gone onto a randomizer and its downloaded viewmodels, and not used ingame views, so perhaps go onto you tf2 files and browse through till you find views and viewmodels, and see if theres and irregularities . I don't know if I helped or not soo...?

Erik
That would make sense but I haven't played anything but valve servers from the matchmaking lobby :/ how would I access my files? Open 'Finder' -> Open 'Steam' -> Go to 'Library' -> Press right click on 'Team Fortress 2' (game) -> Press 'Properties' -> Press 'Local Files' -> Find whatever you need that will solve your problem in the tf2 folder.
