Age: 20

Location, London, United Kingdom

How long have you been using backpack.tf? Since December of 2015

Time you are able to devote to moderation? At least 30 hours a week.

Are you currently a Mod/Admin elsewhere? If Twitch streams count, I am Mod on the streamer called "DannyApproves"

Any previous experience as being a mod? Apart from a one time leader at a now defunct runescape clan, No

Have you been trade banned or marked as a scammer on rep.tf? No.

Additional Information I've helped a few people with suggestions (Death Eater for example) I am nearly always around on this site, And I feel I could make a difference, with helping others.

Cons I feel the biggest con with me is my cockiness, which though alot more tamed, definitely isn't perfect.

Well thanks for reading, And thank you for considering me as a potential moderator.

I think you lack experience, and that you haven't been around for long enough to get the spot, with that said, just my opinion and I hope you can prove me wrong.

I think the most important quality you'll be lacking is experience with unusual suggestions. intricate unusual suggestions make up the bulk of the work we as moderators do here, and they cost the most time by far. Tháts where we'll be needing the most help here.

Because you're only doing non-unusuals, Im probably going to be the moderator that knows you least well (as I specialize in unusual ones and rarely handle common ones, except for when I have a lot of spare time), which is probably also the reason you don't really stand out in particular (i.e I recognize your name from some suggestions, but other than that you havent particularly caught my eye or impressed me with extraordinary skill when it comes to suggesting), so I would generally be hesistant.

Mainly because of the first point made, it'll be a downvote from me.

Personally a downvote from me for the time being. I've never really seen you helping on suggestions, and although you have made many suggestions they haven't really been that expansive and required too much effort and thought (idk if that's the right way to put it). However, I do think you do give a lot of time to the site, and in the coming months focusing a lot on helping out will give you much needed experience, as well as dabbling in harder suggestions will really strengthen this application. I would highly recommend looking at the suggestions some of the recent moderators were making before they got accepted to really see the sort of complex suggestions the site wants from its moderators.

It'll be a downvote from me. You've also shown you can be pretty rude, you made a suggestion rudely calling out Mindacos, which I'd be happy to link if I could find it. I suppose I'll edit this post if I do find it.

Here's another instance of you being rude: http://backpack.tf/s...338772c59082e48

I just don't think you'd be a friendly face for the community, and I'm saying this holding no grudges.

The biggest downside would be the lack of experience in unusual suggestions and the unusual market. Mods have said something along the lines of "Lots of ppl know how to make non unusual suggests; Knowledge in the unusual market is essential; blah blah blah" in past applications that I have looked at from time to time. I could also see the whole "lack of a friendly face in the community" as well. With all of that being said, it'll have to be a downvote from me.

From my experience, from when I was a suggester, you seemed very annoying and (most of the time) incorrect in your statements. This was a long time ago, but just putting my two cents in.

You lack experience. You don't stand out as "huh this guy might be a good mod" to me.

It'll also be a -1 from me.

You lack experience and unusual suggestions, which can put you in a tough corner once you think about it.

As Fishthefish said, being rude also isn't a trait good for moderating a price suggestion site.

You also haven't been around quite long, and I barely know you, but you know, that can change.

Your time that you can be online is quite good, but that wont clear up the other facts.

A no from me.

Closing this application as requested.

As the comments above indicated, you should gain some more experience working with unusual suggestions. That is easily the biggest part of our job as moderators and is the aspect that we could use additional help in. My advice to you would be to dedicate more time to making unusual suggestions to show us that you have the knowledge of the unusual market and our suggestion guidelines. If you can do this, you may have a shot at becoming a mod later on.
