i'd really suggest trying blues/browns first in a store since they feel 98% the same before deciding that you like mechanical switches and that you like blues/browns better than reds.

But theres no store near me for an hour.... And I dont have a car lmao

I don't know if cooler master still does this, but they used to offer a key switch tester and then they'd give you the cost of the tester as a credit towards their keyboard.

Only good one i could find was http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Keyboard-Tester-Kit-Clear-Keycaps-4-Key-Switches-Sampler-for-Cherry-MX-1pcs-/401192175340?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368

with black brown blue and red (no green?)

But it wouldn't come for a while (like up to a month rip)

I meant this: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Mechanical-Keyboard-SGK-1010-BBCA1/dp/B01FXDV92G(and only if Cooler Master is still offering that promotion where they deduct the cost of the tester from any CM keyboard purchase).

Fuck thats expensive, and should I contact them?

Yeah, I'd email cooler master customer support and find out. It's expensive, but like I said, I'd only consider it IF they'll apply the cost of it to the keyboard. Getting the right switch is very important, and since you don't have a best buy type store around, a tester is your best bet.

If you are still looking for stuff:

I have the Cherry Mx-Board. Mechanical (I have the brown switches).

What I like about this one is that it's not one of those super distracting multi-color keyboards that change color every time you even look at it and send out huge colorful rainbows when writing on it - it's a simple keyboard covering the basic functions, but the mechanical switches feel really awesome for both gaming and typing (I've written a good amount of essays etc. on it already).

If you don't want one of those keyboards with 5000 functions you rarely use, I would really recommend this one.

As for the mouse - I still have my old Logitech G500 #cheapo. Reliable mouse with good Dpi (even tho I don't even need many as I have a (s)low setting for precise aiming).. I would again reccomend mouses from brands like Logitech etc., I had the experience that those "gaming" brands, e.g. Razer, Roccat, whatever... are too expensive for their abilities, and not even the best quality in return.
